The scene fades in as the camera rounds the corner. The sounds of heavy breathing and quick slaps of fists on leather echo through the hall. Celeste is soon see as she punches at a punching bag. Fingerless gloves with knuckle pads adorn her hands and the rest of her attire is a pair of black yoga pants with matching sports bra. Her ponytail whips through the air and she spins to deliver a roundhouse right to the punching bag.

CELESTE: Gotta be the last champion.

She mutters to herself before striking the bag with a side kick.

JZ CROWNS: Lesson number One My Sweet Celeste. Never do anything because you “Gotta”. Do it because you want to.

JZ comes around the corner from earlier, Dressed in his SkinTight Catsuit and Leopard print Scarf. He walks up behind Celeste and circles her as she keeps punching the bag.

JZ CROWNS:Do it out of sheer will. I don’t “Gotta” Bring DOOM, To these sheep. But I do anyway. Why? Because It's what I want. And I want it more than anything in the world. That's how you have to approach that match of yours. Yeah I'm following. Keeping tabs. I know everything that you've got planned for the next few weeks.

Crowns pulls out a palm pilot that clearly hasn't been used in a while, Using the stylus to scroll through some notes he's taken.

JZ CROWNS:Ah. Yes! That Title match. That Date with CJ. That Rash on you- No wait that’s me. Note to self. Sorry…. The point is, I keep tabs on you Celeste Dear. I invest time into those I care about. How many of your so called “Friends” and “Co-workers” can say that to your face? My guess is not that many of them. I mean look at you, In this hall by yourself. Training….. By yourself…. Talking to……. Yourself. They've all left you alone. Just like they did to me. We are so much alike you and I. It's like looking into a mirror sometimes.

Celeste drops her arms, letting them swing at her sides as she sighs.

CELESTE: I'm used to doing things myself. Never really could count on anybody. They are all too busy with their own careers anyway. CJ has his shot at SAPs top title and is taking Southside by storm. And what am I doing? Losing title matches and belts themselves. What does it matter if I win? I hand that belt over to Avery Quinn anyways and its goodbye.

She points over to her duffle bag. The SAP North Atlantic Championship is peaking out of the bag. JZ walks to the bag and falls to his knees. Admiring the Championship, He laughs maniacally and rubs his body before turning to Celeste whilst still on his knees.

JZ CROWNS:It Is quite PLEASANT! A magnificent title it is My Sweet Celeste. And as long as you have it, Then you have power over them. As Long As You hold it, It brings DOOM to them. No one else has it but you. It is a smoking gun. Living proof. Proof that no one who has stepped up to you is good enough to carry it. Proof that as of this moment in time you are the only with the power to do so. And they have to respect you. And this Place where you acquired this beauty… They are closing soon yes?

Celeste nods.

JZ CROWNS: Then that makes it much more valuable. Because Forever throughout history They will be forced to know your name. They will be forced to always remember the GREAT CELESTIA GODDESS OF THAT CHAMPIONSHIP! They will be forced to respect you. And THAT. That is the greatest power……

Celeste smirks a bit. The praise heaped on by JZ does feel good to hear. She walks over to him and her title. She holds out her hand for her belt as JZ remains on his knees before her.

CELESTE: I see what you mean. I guess it won't be such a waste if I am the last titleholder. You seem to be the only one who really cares about my success. And THAT does feel...PLEASANT

Crowns stands up and adjust his scarf, turning towards the woman. He nods his head and chuckles quietly his eyes widen with each laugh.

JZ CROWNS: YES! I told you. We are alike, more than some people would like to admit. I can see the similarities between our paths, I could save you the trouble of going through the rough spots. You've just got to trust me. I could show you things that you never thought possible Celestia. Amazing things….

JZ hands her title back and Celeste takes it with a grin.

CELESTE: I will trust you. Show me the way…

The scene fades out...

MATCH ONE
SINGLES MATCH

JZ Crowns vs. Yajirobe Jones

DING! DING!! DING!!!!

Yajirobe was petrified the moment JZ stepped into the ring. No matter how big he was he was as scared as a kitten. Crowns toyed with him a bit at first but saw that it would be best if he just ended this match quickly rather than drag it out. He hit a Bank Shot then climbed up to the top rope waiting for Yajirobe to get up to his feet. Once Jones got up to his feet Crowns leaped off and connected with Crowning Achievement (O Face) to pick up the win.

WINNER: JZ CROWNS VIA PINFALL (4:52)

Cameras cut to the locker room of one of tonight’s Main Event participants, Beth Keaton. There’s a cardboard sign hung up that reads “Warhound’s Lair” in big bubble letters, and she’s in her ring gear going through some stretching and light warm ups. Her earbuds are in and she’s singing to herself, oblivious to the presence of the camera crew.

BETH KEATON: … And if you leave me now, you’ll take away the biggest part of me! Awoo! Awoo! Baby please don’t gooo! And if you--

She finally catches the visitors out of the corner of her eye, and springs to attention, almost tripping over her feet. Pulling the earbuds out, she waves enthusiastically.

BETH KEATON: Hi guys!

Taking a deep breath, she checks her bootlaces to make sure she’s not going to fall again.

BETH KEATON: So I’ve got a big match tonight and I’m super excited about it.

The big smile returns to her face.

BETH KEATON: I know the lineup says this is a grudge match, but that’s not really what this is about for me. I get it, I’ve had my problems with Mrs. The Baroness, but I don’t really uh look at things the same way she and some other people might do. This isn’t a preview of our match at House of Pain for me, or a way to get momentum, or anything like that. It’s a chance to do what I love in a big spot against two really good wrestlers, her and Mr. Black, teaming with a guy in Levi who’s at the top of the blue brand right now.

A beat passes.

BETH KEATON: That might not be the type of uh, big talk you want to hype up House of Pain or whatever, but I take everything one match at a time. I try not to let being angry or bitter or thinking about revenge get into my mind. Because that would take away from me being able to enjoy this. I see every match as its own opportunity to do something special and this one especially should be!

She bites her lip awkwardly, then waves again.

BETH KEATON: Okay thanks guys, bye!

Popping her earbuds back in she starts singing again as we fade away.

MATCH TWO
GRUDGE MATCH

TAG TEAM MATCH

Lance Winters & Jason Boyarski vs. Akeem Burrows & Xavier Asher Daniels

DING! DING!! DING!!!!

Well...We were expecting a match to happen but nope! The Black Delegation had other plans as they attacked Lance and Boyarski from behind during their entrance in the crowd. Akeem and Isaiah went after Boyarski since they were the bigger of the two while XAD and his former tag team partner squared off. The crowd popped with El Cabron Malo wild'n on commentary. Once the brawl lead into the backstage area the Global Tag Team Champions looked to get involved...NOT SO FAR FELLAS!

Jensen Banks came in just in the knick of time with RED OHNO and security before things could get completely out of hand. Jensen said he was tired of this crap and said that they can settle this at House of Pain: Fall of Tyrants. RIP will defend the HKW Global Tag Team Championships against any two of the three members of The Black Delegation. Banks didn't give them a chance to mouth off at each other as he ordered security to get them the hell out of the building.

Deep within the Sprint Center, far enough away from the clattering of an army of stagehands rushing back and forth to attend to each and every task given to them from the office high above and the wrestlers making their ever-more outlandish and self-serving demands below, we find Elijah Black sat with his back against the wall, clad in a black army surplus shirt with hand-sewn patches of the Dead Kennedys logo on one arm and a Cuban flag on the other, and he’s wearing a very thoughtful look on his face as he begins

ELIJAH BLACK: In June of 1947 the Doomsday Clock was first set, stating there were seven minutes to midnight, which is the sort of charming euphemism for the possibility of nuclear Armageddon that somebody who has a decent chance of being in the bunker when the bombs drop will think of, knowing they won’t be turned to ash if they’re lucky or slowly rot to death from the inside if they are not. Sometimes the clock goes back so we’re “safer” than we once were, other times it ticks every-closer to midnight, which it certainly does when there’s an egotist serving as a damning indictment of the service-based economy tweeting everyone else into the firing line.

Aiming an almost quizzical look at the camera, Black suppressed a smirk

ELIJAH BLACK: I bet you’re expecting me to make some direct comparison between this and my impending match with Levi Chambers, aren’t you? Well I hate to shatter your preconceptions, really I do, but anyone with half a brain in their head would know making such a comparison is f**king stupid. No, I’m just reminding you that, somewhere out there, there’s some people sat in a room working on an equation to pinpoint just how likely it is that you’ll all be collateral damage in a war you didn’t start and sure as hell didn’t want, and if that sounds normal to you then that’s part of the problem.

Letting out a mild snort of amusement, with an underlying level of condescension, Black spends a couple of seconds looking directly at the camera as if he’s staring into the soul of everyone watching him as he speaks as he knows full well he has a captive audience, and only when he’s ready does he begin speaking once more

ELIJAH BLACK: But let’s talk about my impending match with Levi Chambers, oh yes, let’s talk about that. Here’s the thing: I almost, almost respect him for what he did on the last show, walking out there and getting straight to the point and accepting my challenge. He could’ve hung back for as long as he wanted, he could’ve let Romeo Price stand in my way and tell me how I can’t hold up “his” show and blah, blah, blah – the path was clear to obfuscate so he could avoid accepting my challenge for as long as he could hold out, but he faced my challenge head-on and didn’t back down. The problem is that, now that he’s accepted, that makes me want to destroy him all the more – and the fact is that I have to.

Pressing the back of his head against the wall, Black takes a deep breath before continuing

ELIJAH BLACK: But the one thing I won’t be doing this evening is tearing Levi Chambers apart piece by piece by piece. A lesser man might think that putting the hurting on him this evening will send a message, maybe plant some seeds of doubt in his mind or make him afraid of what he’ll have to face, but that’s so far from the truth there’s a reason the term is “lesser man” and not “f**king genius.” Going all-out to destroy Levi Chambers tonight is the equivalent of masturbation, a short-term gratifier that does nothing once it’s over – and more than anything else, destroying Levi Chambers tonight runs the risk of strengthening his resolve for when we face off a little further down the line, let alone showing my hand when the stakes are low when the better play is to wait until it’s do or die for Levi and I’ve got a killing blow I can play anytime that I want. That’s the good news for Levi, but here’s the bad news: he gets to watch as Beth Keaton gets destroyed in his stead.

Not even trying to hide his amusement, a dark chuckle emanates from deep within Black’s body as he continues

ELIJAH BLACK: Shit happens, Beth, and you lost the draw. I could run off a list of threats, I could throw a few intimidating comments in your direction, but what’s the point? The second this match was announced you knew you’d get caught in the crossfire one way or another, and I’m sure you made your peace with it already – or maybe you’re living under the impression that you’ll manage to avoid me one way or the other, by staying out of the match or keeping me out of the match, but it doesn’t matter to me what your plan is or what you’re hoping will happen, because it’s now time that I give Hard Knox a vision of the future and it sure as f**k looks like my boot coming down on your face for as long as I say it has to.

Offering the merest hint of a shrug, Black hardly looks repentant for what he’s describing

ELIJAH BLACK: It’s nothing personal, because as I said you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but if at any point you find yourself asking why this is happening to you just remember that it’s the fault of the guy pretending to be your friend stood on the ring apron. He has something that I want, something I plan to take, and he needs to realise what he is going to face just so it dawns on him that he’s facing a very different animal to the one he thought he was going up against. When he was facing Colton it was only every about the belt, and just what he was willing to do not just to retain it but make damn sure Levi gave him his rematch, but at the end of the day his thoughts and desires began and ended with him saying he was champion. He could win a championship but he couldn’t use it – but I can, and I have many plans for it, so all that needs to happen is I take that belt from him. Why am I telling you this, Beth? It’s so you understand that you will play a role in this happening, and maybe even inspire you to demand some misguided sense of vengeance by challenging me for the title sometime down the line, but that’s for another time. As for tonight…

Pausing once again, Black aims a blank, lifeless stare towards the camera for several seconds, without as much as a muscular twitch as the only sound is his low, husky breathing

ELIJAH BLACK: …you’ll get over it someday.

MATCH THREE
NON-TITLE MATCH

SINGLES MATCH

Brian Stryker © vs. Tien Almas

DING! DING!! DING!!!!

The bell rang as Stryker wasn’t even interested in the match, instead he laid himself up across the top turnbuckle of his corner. He pulls his own phone out of the waist of his tights as he starts scrolling through twitter, liking this, retweeting that. Tien Almas is confused as he looks at the ref who just shrugs him off. Stryker holds up his finger in a wait motion as he finished an important text before hoping off the turnbuckle and placing his phone on the mat. The match properly began this time as Tien managed to out maneuver Stryker a moment. He locks Stryker in a Belly to Back and goes to lift Stryker up but he counter into an arm drag.

Tien rolled up and turned around, just in time for a hard superkick to take his face off. Stryker stood over the fallen opponent as he smirked to himself. Pulling Almas back up, Stryker toyed with him, giving him slaps to the back of the head while taunting him to do better. Grabbing the groggy Almas, Stryker hooks the arms and drives his skull into the mat for a sick Stryke Out DDT. Almas is not even moving as Stryker hooks the leg and gets the three count.

WINNER: BRIAN STRYKER VIA PINFALL (5:31)

After the bell, Stryker looked down at Almas as he grabs him by the hair and pulls him up to his feet. He gets Alamas to a steady stance as he pats his shoulder. Almas, thinking it’s a sign of respect nods as he pats Stryker’s in return. Stryker then pulls Almas in and lays a hard knee to Almas’s chin, knocking the man back down. Stryker laughs as he rolls out of the ring and reaches under the apron. He pulls out a t-shirt and holds it up to reveal its a Dark Horse Protection shirt.

Stryker rolls back into the ring and starts putting the shirt on Almas. Once the shirt is on, Stryker grabs Almas and locks him into the Shawshank, laughing as he makes sure Almas is facing the camera so everyone on TV can see him suffer. Stryker continues to tighten the hold as Almas claws at Stryker trying to break free.

“Dark Horses” by Switchfoot begins blaring over the PA system as the fans get to their feet. Out onto the ramp runs Hunter Werth. He avoids his normal fan interaction considering what his friend Stryker is doing in the ring. He makes his way down the ramp sliding into the ring. Where he would normally lay a dropkick to the side of the head of any other nefarious entity, he walks over getting into the face of Stryker.

HUNTER WERTH: Come on man, let him go. What are you doing this for

He puts his hands on Stryker arms pulling at them a bit. Not roughly, but enough pressure to try and break the hold.

HUNTER WERTH: This isn’t you man.

Hunter continued as he kept trying to pull the arm of Stryker off of Almas. Stryker let go of Almas and stood up, glaring at his former tag partner who rudely interrupted him. Hunter took a step back for a second looking into Stryker’s eyes.

HUNTER WERTH: What the hell man?!

BRIAN STRYKER: This IS me Hunter. This is ME pushed to my breaking point! Maybe you wouldn’t understand as you just wade through life and wrestling content being alright. But when you’re me and you want to be the best only for scum like this idiot to get your time, you can only take so much of it. I’m the Lionheart Champ AND the face of Subversion. I deserve all the time in the world!”

Stryker snapped jabbing Hunter in the chest with his finger. Hunter looks down at the finger in his chest. Trying his best to hold himself together while his friend berates him. Hunter puts his hand up slowly moving Brian’s hand off his chest only for Brian to move it back up slamming it back into Hunter’s chest. Hunter slapped it away this time. He took a deep breath before speaking.

HUNTER WERTH: Look man, you want to act like a fool that’s on you. But don’t think I’m not going to hold you accountable when you’re being stupid. I’m your friend and you’re better than this.

Brian laughs as he looked at Hunter with almost a look of disbelief.

BRIAN STRYKER: Oh really? And what are you gonna do? Lose to me? Let’s face facts Hunter, I’m the better of the two. You need me more than I need you. So by all means I’d love to see you try and do ANYTHING to me. No seriously try. I’m sure these ingrates would love it.

Brian holds his arms out and let’s Hunter have a free shot. Hunter holds his fist in his hand, rubbing it in while he tongues his cheek looking around the arena. He scoffs as he paces in front of Stryker for a few moments.

HUNTER WERTH: And what exactly would that prove Brian? Huh? That I can’t keep my temper in check just as much as you can’t keep your dumb ideas of what will take you to the top of this company in check?

Hunter waves his hands in the air in front of him, signalling that Brian can put his arms down.

HUNTER WERTH: No, no. It’s much simpler than this. You think you’re so much better than I am then why don’t we put that to the test huh? House of Pain is coming up. I’ll challenge you to a match there. Then we can do it properly and I can show you much more than what one sucker punch ever could. And since you insist on continually berating me, pretending that I could never beat you anyways, then you’ll have no problem putting the Lionheart Championship on the line either.

The crowd is cheering wildly and chanting “YES!” as Hunter laid down the challenge. Stryker looks around shouting at them to shut up as he tries to think. He glares at Hunter before giving his answer.

BRIAN STRYKER: YOU WANT TO FACE ME?! FINE! YOU GOT IT!

Stryker then throws a right hand cheapshot right at Hunter’s head, but Hunter see’s it coming. He leans back, as his forearm shoots up pushing Stryker’s arm out of its path. Instinct alone causes Hunter to ball his other fist, bring it up and shooting it directly into the right side and bottom lip of Stryker. Stryker stumbles back and more instinct from Hunter as he steps forward his arms up worried about his friend but he catches himself. He falls to the ground rolling out of the ring and helping Almas out as well the two making their way up the ramp. Hunter looks back several times as Brian leans against the ropes staring at Hunter as he makes his way out. Stryker holds his jaw in pain as he shoots daggers at Hunter, demanding his title back as he held it close to his chest as he rolls out of the ring and makes his way out through the crowd.

MATCH FOUR
GRUDGE MATCH

SINGLES MATCH

Lady Magdalena vs. Mora Findlay

DING! DING!! DING!!!!

This match probably closer than what people originally thought it was going to be. Mora wasn't going to let down Boss Man Baby Bobby down as she was going up against his greatest foe at this point in time. Lady for obvious reasons probably wanted to skin the bitch that was defending Bobby after all he has done and said over the months. This just made for a great match...But then members of UNDERGROUND began to invade Subversion! The members of UNDERGROUND surrounded the ring until they all hopped onto the apron. They slowly entered the ring and began to attack Lady all at once! The crowd booed as it seemed as if nobody was going to come out and help Lady..Not for long!

Her big bother Lassie, Jackie Fowler, Leander Apollo and her husband Chris Strike all followed by members of the Subversion roster come sprinting down the ramp!

ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE! SUBVERSION AND UNDERGROUND ARE AT WAR!

While all this is happening Barabbas slides into the ring with a chair in hand hoping to hit Lady with it..NO! Jensen's theme song hits the PA System and once again he and members of security come out. While security run down to break up the fighting Jensen tells Bobby that he was tired of his shit and so was Sean Sands as well has HOP General Manager Cash Johnson. It was time to settle this crap once and for all. At House of Pain: Fall Of Tyrants it will be Lady Magdalena versus Bobby B. Barabbas in a lumberjack match!

The crowd popped as Bobby almost flipped out of the ring he was so mad. Luckily Ramsey and his dick was there to stop him from harming himself. The scene faded away with Lady staring at Bobby with a smirk now on her face with some blood trickling down her lips.

WINNER: NO CONTEST

THE CRIMSON BARONESS: And now the time draws near…

She says as the camera pans upwards to reveal the former Bloodlust champion walking through the hallways of the Sprint Center. Dressed in her ring attire ahead of tonight’s main event, The Crimson Baroness is carrying her trusted bat over one shoulder and wearing a smile on her face as she goes.

THE CRIMSON BARONESS: One more match before Fall of Tyrants, and my chance to finally wrap my hands around that scrawny little neck of hers. Before I finally get my chance to right all the wrongs she has perpetrated against me…

TCB inhales deeply through her nostrils, closing her eyes as she seems to be revelling in the upcoming opportunity.

THE CRIMSON BARONESS: But first, before any of that, we have our tag team match to worry about. So rest easy for now, Beth, sweetie. Hide behind Levi as much as you can. Keep yourself safe until Fall of Tyrants, because I’m coming for my pound of flesh and one way or another, I’m taking what is mine…

She winks at the camera as she continues on her way, and the show transitions elsewhere.

Before Clara Martins can get into the ring, all of the lights in the arena fall dark and the crowd begins to chatter amongst themselves unsure of where they’re at on the agenda. The arena remains in this darkness for an uncomfortable amount of time, before the ring announcer's voice can finally be heard.

CLARA MARTINS: Ladies and gen-

TAKE THIS SHIT BACK

But before she can even finish, she's cut off by the four familiar words and the crowd erupting into applause and cheers. A spotlight hits the middle of the stage just as a massive figure in a baggy hooded sweatshirt can be caught walking into it, shaking out his limbs and rolling out his neck as A Day to Remember's '2nd Sucks' begins to blast over the sound system.

CLARA MARTINS: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Hard Knox Wrestling Interbrand Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and weighing in tonight at 239 pounds... he is the Avatar of Brutality, Rex EVANS!

A cameraman maneuvers around to get right beneath the figure as he throws off his hood, revealing it is indeed the Brute, brandishing his #BRUTAL mouth guard as always. The camera follows as he begins making his way down the ramp, beating his chest and slapping himself in the head, as he stares toward the middle of the ring.

WILLIAM BURKE: I can honestly say I never expected to see Rex Evans in a Hard Knox ring given his extensive list of injuries and medical issues.

EL CABRON MALO: My god, he's even bigger in person!

As he nears the side of the ring, he leaps up and lands flush on the bottom of his feet atop the apron, before quickly hopping through the ropes in one fluid motion. Pacing around the ring, he looks up at the stage like an uncaged animal, unzipping his sweatshirt to reveal his tattooed and scared torso before tossing it into the crowd.

CLARA MARTINS: And introducing second, the champion...

Rex's music fades and is replaced by the opening sounds of Machine Gun Kelly's 'Warning Shot.' The lights have finally returned in the arena, just in time to see the champion explode onto the stage like a ball of fire, rushing right across and leaping up onto the barricade with his championship belt held high.

CLARA MARTINS: Also hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and weighing in tonight at 184 pounds... he is the Hard Knox Wrestling Interbrand Champion, 'Suicidal' Tommy... EVANS!

While the crowd popped loudly at the opportunity to see Rex Evans again, it pales in comparison to the ovation they give their ITV champion. Tommy sinks into a suicide pose, before disappearing into the crowd. The cameras try to keep up with him, but they lose him rather quickly, and half a minute later he reemerges standing on a fan's chair. He steps up and begins walking across shoulders and hands to eventually get back to the barricade at ring side, once again tossing the belt up high as he stares at his next challenger... his own brother.

EL CABRON MALO: Bye bye brotherhood. Tonight is about blood and bruises, and this pendejo is about to get a bunch of both.

WILLIAM BURKE: Respect runs deep between the Evans' brothers, and that's the story of tonight's match up, not blood and bruises. Though I agree that there will likely be plenty of both.

Tommy lifts the cup of beer a fan handed him, guzzling it down without taking his eyes off of his brother, before dropping it and effortlessly leaping from the barricade to the turnbuckle. He sinks into one final suicide pose with the belt, before leaping into the ring and handing the title to the referee.

WILLIAM BURKE: Wrestling fans who caught the old days of Code Red Wrestling will know, even when Tommy Evans turned on his brother and stabbed him in the back, Rex refused to lay a hand on him. He said he would never hurt his brother no matter what he did.

EL CABRON MALO: I guess 'getting more successful than me' wasn't considered in that promise.

WILLIAM BURKE: Tonight isn't about revenge or punishment, it's about putting on an incredible show for these fans, which is what the Evans brothers have almost always been about.

EL CABRON MALO: Almost.

The referee shows the championship belt to both brothers, but Rex never takes his eyes off of Tommy. Tommy presses his forehead against the belt before returning his gaze to the Brute. As the referee turns to hand off the belt, the bell rings and the Evans brothers charge at one another.

MATCH FIVE
HKW ITV CHAMPIONSHIP

SINGLES MATCH

Tommy Evans © vs. Rex Evans

DING! DING! DING!

The Evans brothers collide in the middle of the ring with a sickening thud, yet somehow both are standing. Neither had been trying to knock the other off their feet, it was just a violent collar-elbow tie up, and both begin jockeying for position. But it quickly becomes obvious who would win in a test of strength, as Rex begins muscling the much smaller Tommy backwards toward the corner.

EL CABRON MALO: Well, that was a mistake.

WILLIAM BURKE: Maybe not. These two have to know each other inside and out. They aren't just brothers, they're long-time tag team partners, they're sparring partners, they have trained a number of wrestlers together, and the list goes on. So, maybe Tommy knows what he's doing.

That quickly seems unlikely as Rex shoves Tommy into the turnbuckle, completely breaking the tie up with one quick motion, before following it up with a stiff forearm in the corner. The referee jumps in and backs Rex off, leaving Tommy a moment to check on his jaw. Tommy laughs and nods as he steps out of the corner, licking a bit of blood from his top lip before circling to the right, forcing his brother to follow suit.

EL CABRON MALO: Is this mad man laughing?

The brothers charge at each other again, but this time Tommy slides forward, hitting the mat and sliding perfectly between Rex's legs before popping up and leaping onto his brother's shoulders, leaning backwards and pulling Rex over with a reverse hurricanrana that sends him tumbling heels over head across the ring. Both Tommy and Rex quickly pop back up to their feet and look at each other with smirks. Rex motions for Tommy to approach, but Tommy wisely shakes his head and paces a safe distance away.

WILLIAM BURKE: What a display of athleticism! Rex may be able to overpower his little brother, but Tommy can literally run circles around him thanks to his incredible quickness.

Rex finally begins moving in and Tommy closes the distance by charging and leaping up with a dropkick to the face, but Rex snaps his head out of the way and snatches Tommy out of midair by the waist as he begins to sail past, before spinning around and tossing him over head with a vicious German suplex.

EL CABRON MALO: HOLY SHIT! Don't be so sure, the big man is quicker than he looks.

Both brothers clamber to their feet again, but Tommy is a second slower and Rex charges in to scoop him up for a gutwrench suplex. He stays down for the cover, but Tommy kicks out before the referee can even slide to the ground. Both brothers scramble once more to their feet, but Rex turns around first again and charges at Tommy, eating a Warning Shot superkick out of nowhere! The crowd pops as Tommy falls on top of Rex, but Rex literally tosses him off - once again, before the ref can even get to the canvas.

WILLIAM BURKE: The referee will certainly be getting a workout during this match, it would seem

Tommy begins dragging his brother up and turns to give him his back, placing Rex's chin on his shoulder before leaping into the air for the familiar Hara-Kiri shiranui, but Rex doesn't seem to fall over like normal and Tommy is stuck in the air wiggling his feet before Rex spins and drops him to the mat, getting an elbow over his midsection on the way down.

EL CABRON MALO: Ouch! He's going to feel that one for a while.

Rex doesn't waste time with a cover this time, pulling his brother up by the head as he climbs back to his feet himself. He keeps hold of his head as he whips him around, transitioning into a Muay Thai clinch, before lifting his knees right into Tommy's face! One knee! A second knee! A third knee! A fourth! A fifth! And the sixth sends him slumping to the mat! This time, Rex follows him for the cover, and Tommy lets the referee do his job.

ONE!

TW-Kickout!

WILLIAM BURKE: And the referee is finally able to make it to the mat before one of these brothers kicks out, there is obviously a lot riding on this match for each of them.

Both brothers are a bit slower to get up this time, but Rex reaches down to drag Tommy up, which turns out to be a mistake as he eats an arm drag. Rex uses the momentum to get back to his feet, and turn around to charge back, but he's met with an abrupt tornado kick that sends him back into the corner. Tommy follows his brother there, kicking him in the gut once, twice, thrice! Before rushing across the ring, hitting the ropes in an adjacent corner, and charging back to level Rex with a massive Yakuza kick!

EL CABRON MALO: My god, he almost took his head off with that one!

Rex looks dazed as he slumps in the corner, but Tommy grabs his neck beneath his armpit before turning them both around and climbing up the turnbuckle, pushing off to spin around and spike his brother's head into the mat with a tornado DDT. Tommy ignores the cover, instead popping up to his feet, hitting the ropes, and coming back with a running shooting star press before finally hooking a leg for the cover.

KICKOUT!

Instead of releasing his brother's leg, Tommy moves lightning fast, rolling his brother over and moving around both of their legs, until suddenly Rex screams out and Tommy sinks down into a cross-legged Boston crab! Rex pushes up with his arms and begins dragging Tommy across the ring to grab the ropes, and Tommy releases his brother at the one count. Rex lies on his stomach grasping the ropes a moment, as Tommy rushes to the nearest corner and pulls himself up. Rex pushes up to all fours and the fans begin cheering, knowing that the Seppuku is coming next (shooting star meteora to an opponent on all fours).

EL CABRON MALO: LOOK OUT REX!

As if Rex heard the commentator shout, he shoots up to his feet and repositions himself, catching Tommy on his shoulders as he finishes his rotation in air, and falling backwards into a Samoan drop. Both brothers lay there out of breath a moment, before Rex rolls backwards and is suddenly over Tommy in the full mount. A camera catches Rex mouth the words "sorry bro" as Tommy begins frantically trying to escape the full mount, but his plans quickly change to simply covering his face after catching the first vicious hammerfist!

WILLIAM BURKE: Tommy is in a bad way. Rex's mixed martial arts training makes him a dangerous threat on the ground, especially against an opponent of such a drastic size difference.

Rex's eyes seem to glint with fire as he drops his mounted flurry of ground and pound strikes - hammerfists, straight punches, elbows, forearms - over and over to Tommy's face and forearms until he seems to fade. Rex puts his hands on Tommy's shoulders and looks at the ref, who slides down to position.

THR-KICKOUT!

Tommy somehow bucks his brother right off of him, but has little time to do anything else as Rex reaches down and grabs him by either side of the head, pulling him up as he pushes to his feet and tossing him like a ragdoll into the corner. He follows closely after, slamming chest first into him with all of his weight just after he impacts. Tommy lets out a yelp of pain, before Rex bends over and begins ramming his shoulder into Tommy's ribs repeatedly.

EL CABRON MALO: My god, Tommy's not going to survive this match at this rate.

WILLIAM BURKE: Rex seems to be softening up Tommy's ribs for the eventual Unstoppable, his trademark finishing spear. And you're absolutely right Malo, Tommy seems to be in a lot of pain.

After at least half a dozen shoulder thrusts, Rex backs up and watches the groggy Tommy nearly collapse out of the corner on his own. He grabs him and pulls him out, putting his head beneath his left shoulder and draping his arm over his neck, before hoisting him up for a stalling suplex. The fans begin to count, but they only get to four before Tommy somehow drops a knee right onto Rex's head and he begins to sway in midair. He drops another, and Rex's hand moves to hold his head, which allows Tommy to maneuver around in the air, and drop backwards to complete his Hara-Kiri from earlier, dropping Rex with a shiranui double-knee backbreaker.

EL CABRON MALO: HOLY SHIT!

WILLIAM BURKE: You can never count Tommy Evans out of any situation! He's making the cover!

ONE!

KICKOUT!

Rex presses Tommy up and throws him away again, but Tommy lands on his feet and rushes at his brother with a shining wizard, but Rex explodes to his feet, catching Tommy in the midst of the move and slamming him hard onto his back with a sit-out powerbomb, covering him himself.

KICKOUT!

EL CABRON MALO: Rex has thrown Tommy around the ring so often and so easily that I'm starting to think he isn't his brother but his childhood doll.

Rex sits near his brother, breathing heavily and staring at him with a glint of anger in his eyes. He lets out almost a grunt before reaching out to grab him and pulling him up to a standing position with him. The groggy Tommy quickly regains his composure just in time to be caught by a stiff right forearm, and then a straight left punch, and then a spinning elbow strike, and another forearm, until he looks more dazed than ever, at which point Rex grabs him by the waist and lifts him up, sinking him into a bearhug.

WILLIAM BURKE: Many people scoff at the bearhug, but it is a painful submission in it's own right, and perhaps the perfect maneuver for softening up Tommy's ribs even further.

Tommy screams out in pain as his brother begins to squeeze the life out of him, but he quickly strikes him in the side of the head with a forearm, and another, and another, and then a left elbow, and a forearm, and an elbow, until Rex finally drops him. Tommy staggers back, feels the ropes at his back, and then lunges forward with a superkick!

EL CABRON MALO: WARNING SHOT!

WILLIAM BURKE: NO!

Rex manages to just duck out of the way, sending Tommy's leg right over his shoulder, but then Rex bursts back up, grabbing Tommy's planted leg and then putting a hand on his chest as he hoists him into the air for a gorilla press.

WILLIAM BURKE: Wait, here comes The Drop!

EL CABRON MALO: NO NO NO!

Rex extends his hands a bit to give Tommy that extra bit of air, but Tommy manages to use that momentum to change his positioning, and he instead slides down Rex's back and wraps his legs around his waist and his arm around his throat, locking in the Bite of the Dragon!

WILLIAM BURKE: GENOCIDE! GENOCIDE!

EL CABRON MALO: GENOCIDE! THIS IS A WEIRD THING TO SCREAM!

Rex screams out in pain, but it's almost drowned out by Tommy's own scream as he wrenches his brother's head back. Rex stumbles around reaching out, until he eventually manages to grab hold of the top rope. Tommy continues screaming, his eyes closed, and doesn't let go until the referee reaches three as he finally hears him.

WILLIAM BURKE: These two are leaving it all in the middle of the ring, as promised. And these fans are eating it up!

EL CABRON MALO: I can barely watch!

Tommy wastes no time, rushing across the ring as soon as his feet are on the canvas, bouncing off the ropes and charging back with a double-spinning discus forearm smash as Rex turns toward him. It sends Rex staggering back against the ropes, where he ends up staying as Tommy let's out a primal roar and begins throwing all kinds of rapid-fire kicks at his brother, hitting him in the chest, the stomach, the shoulders, the legs, the head, until Rex finally falls over and hits the mat out of it.

WILLIAM BURKE: Tommy is fired up!

Tommy let's out another primal roar as he paces away from his fallen brother, the fans roaring back in approval as they begin chanting his name. Tommy paces in a circle, before marching over and lifting his brother up to his feet. Rex is so out of it that Tommy is able to Irish whip him across the ring despite his size, and as Tommy prepares to hit him with something on the way back, he gets his head taken off by a massive clothesline that forces him to back flip 450 degrees, landing back on his back.

WILLIAM BURKE: REX WITH THE POWERLINE!

EL CABRON MALO: AY DIOS MIO! LO MATADO!

Rex leans against the ropes with his armpits, staring out at the crowd as he's still groggy, his brother lying motionless in the ring. After a few seconds of catching his bearings, Rex drops to the mat and crawls over to cover Tommy, hooking both legs.

THREE-

NO, HE KICKED OUT!

WILLIAM BURKE: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!

EL CABRON MALO: HOW DID HE KICK OUT!?

Rex can't believe it either, but only for a moment as he rolls to a seated position and begins laughing. He nods his head with a smile, before pushing to his feet and walking to the nearest corner, turning around and sinking down. The fans are at a deafening pitch with their mixed reaction, some cheering the prospect of seeing the first Unstoppable in a Hard Knox Wrestling ring, but many also attempting to will Tommy back to his feet. Rex punches the mat, before motioning for Tommy to get to his feet.

EL CABRON MALO: It's all over, Billy. Sin City's favorite convict is about to complete his hostile takeover of Hard Knox Wrestling. Rest in Peace, Young Tom.

Tommy finally begins showing signs of life, forcing himself to roll over as the fans somehow get even louder. Rex is practically quivering with anticipation, hitting the canvas again, and again! Tommy pushes to a knee, trying to catch his breath, then to his feet, doubled over. Finally he stands and turns toward his brother, who rockets out of the corner like he just got a Bullet Bill in MarioKart before hitting the mat face first as he gets leveled with a flying head kick!

WILLIAM BURKE & EL CABRON MALO: BRAIN DAMAGE! BRAIN DAMAGE! BRAIN DAMAGE!

The crowd erupts at the magnificent display, and a tear slides down Tommy's eye as he wills himself to crawl towards his brother. Rex is dead weight, and Tommy screams as he uses all his might to roll him onto his back, before hooking a leg, and the crowd chants along with the ref.

NO! THE REFEREE IS POINTING AT REX’S FOOT!

Somehow, someway, Rex gets a foot on the bottom rope and the referee catches it at the last possible millisecond. Tommy doesn't even get off of his brother, instead dropping his leg and shooting his hands to the sides of his head as he cannot believe it. They both lie there motionless a moment, but as the referee is about to begin his count Tommy rolls off and looks up at the nearest turnbuckle, making the crowd lose their shit, if they still had any!

EL CABRON MALO: This match is going to give me a heart attack, Burke.

WILLIAM BURKE: I can't believe what I'm watching. I'm not sure Tommy will even be able to make it to the top rope.

Tommy takes a deep breath and pushes himself to his feet, marching towards the turnbuckle. He grabs the top rope and stares at it a moment, taking a few deep breaths, before leaping up and turning around. He looks down at his brother, another tear welling up in his eyes, before flashing his suicide pose and standing upright. He takes a deep breath and leaps off with his phoenix splash, the Suicide, crashing down right into Rex's knees!

EL CABRON MALO: NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

WILLIAM BURKE: Rex Evans somehow manages to get his knees up and Tommy landed extremely poorly on top of them.

Tommy bounces off of his brother's knees violently, hitting the mat hard, and Rex immediately clutches onto his braced knee, wincing in pain. The referee checks on both, but is forced to begin his count.

WILLIAM BURKE: It's hard to believe, but both men are showing signs of life.

EL CABRON MALO: Nothing is hard to believe anymore. Both of these men want to beat the other so badly they've both become suicidal.

WILLIAM BURKE: And both men manage to get up before the count of te-

EL CABRON MALO: UNSTOPPABLE!

Rex digs deep and rushes across the ring, practically cutting his brother in half with a rib-breaking spear and drilling him into the mat. He quickly goes for the cover.

EL CABRON MALO: He just killed his own brother. Put that man back behind bars!

WILLIAM BURKE: It has to be over now.

But the referee taps on Rex's shoulder, pointing at Tommy's leg - which has landed completely underneath the bottom rope, hanging off the apron. Rex's head drops, and he begins laughing again, almost maniacally this time, as he shakes his head. The camera picks up him muttering the word "fine" as he aggressively pushes up to his feet using his brother's chest. He marches across the ring and sinks down low into the opposite corner again, sending the crowd into dueling chants.

LET'S GO TOMMY!

LET'S GO REX!

LET'S GO TOMMY!

LET'S GO REX!

Tommy finally twitches, rolling over onto his stomach and dragging himself towards the center of the ring before he begins to push himself up. He clearly sees his brother in the corner, and drops back to a knee, looking right at him and shaking his head. Rex snarls and pushes up to his feet. Tommy pushes to his feet too, but is a second too late as Rex knees him in the gut and hoists him up on his shoulders for his samoan driver.

EL CABRON MALO: Here comes Dissociation. If Rex hits this in the middle of the ring, it has to be over. There is no way Tommy can kick out

WILLIAM BURKE: I don't think you can count either of these guys out during this match, no matter what.

Rex begins to push Tommy over for the move, but Tommy slides a bit awkwardly, causing Rex to lose his footing and try again, but it happens again and soon Tommy is moving like the Flash on Rex's back, much to the Brute's dismay. Rex struggles against it, but in a few seconds he screams in pain, as Tommy has him locked in an octopus stretch!

EL CABRON MALO: HOMICIDE! He has Rex locked in the Homicide!

Rex screams in pain, fighting against the hold. He can't really move closer to the ropes, but he struggles against it, shaking his head and screaming no each time the referee asks. Miraculously he shows no sign of wearing out after thirty seconds... forty five... and Tommy has had enough. He repositions on his brother's back just a bit, causing Rex to fight harder against it, but Tommy grabs Rex's free arm and pulls back, transitioning into a double arm octopus stretch.

EL CABRON MALO: OH MY GOD, REGICIDE! REGICIDE!

WILLIAM BURKE: How fitting that he has locked his brother Rex, the latin word for king, into the Regicide, which means the killing of a king!

Another tear slides down Tommy's cheek as he screams with passion, wrenching his brother's arms back even further. Rex's unlocked leg falls to a knee as he screams out himself, a tear of his own welling in his eyes as he begins to fade. After fifteen seconds, he stops screaming, and falls forward onto his face, Tommy still wrenching back. The referee slides down, shouting at Rex, but there's no response, and he turns to call for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

CLARA MARTINS: Here is your winner, and STILL the Hard Knox Wrestling Interbrand Television Champion... 'Suicidal' TOMMY EVAAAANNNNNSS!

WILLIAM BURKE: HE DID IT, MALO! HE DID IT!

EL CABRON MALO: I can hardly believe it!

Tommy finally releases his brother's arms and falls forward himself onto his brother’s back, embracing Rex’s head as 'Warning Shot' by Machine Gun Kelly blares once again over the sound system.

The referee pries Tommy off of his brother as a ringside physician checks to make sure Rex is still breathing, helping him onto his back. Tommy sits with his hands on his forehead, fingers wedged into hair as his eyes are bloodshot and watery. He stares over at his unconscious brother in disbelief as the referee returns with his championship belt.

WINNER AND STILL HKW ITV CHAMPION: Tommy Evans via Submission (18:06)

Suddenly "10 Toes" by. Nipsey Hussle hits the PA System. The crowd erupts in boos as the two time HKW Global Tag Team Champion Felix Vialpando walks out onto the stage with a notebook in hand. He seemed to be scribbling something down in it. He looks up and down to the ring with a smirk on his face.

FELIX VIALPANDO: You know what, Tommy? I'm really glad you were able to survive this match against your brother because it would've been a shame if I was to take the HKW ITV Championship off of him at House of Pain and not you.

Boos.

FELIX VIALPANDO: Defiance...Defiance was a freaking fluke and we both know it. You got lucky that night! We all freaking know it! Each and every match you have won since getting that title has been nothing but pure luck. Well...You luck is set to run out at HOP, Tommy boy. It's in the notes, so it's true. I'm going to correct my mistakes at HOP and I will leave there the ITV Champion as I should've been last Sunday!

Felix nods to himself as Tommy stares at him not saying a word but gripping his title hard in his hands.

FELIX VIALPANDO: In case you haven't figured it out yet, Tommy....It will be me and you for THAT title again at House of Pain: Fall Of Tyrants...And that belt will be mine! And until then...I suggest you take notes.

Felix drops the mic and turns to head back while Tommy stares at the back of his head until the scene fades away.

MAIN EVENT
GRUDGE MATCH

TAG TEAM MATCH

Elijah Black & The Crimson Baroness vs. Beth Keaton & Levi Chambers ©

DING! DING!! DING!!!!

Pretty much what you'd expect from a main event match up of this magnitude. There was a lot of tension in the air with loads of bad blood boiling between these two teams. Did that tension bomb explode? Of course it did. It started out with Levi calling out Elijah who toyed with the idea of actually starting the match off with the Global Champion but instead elected to let TCB have her way with him first. It was a pretty good back and forth but Levi could tell the WARHOUND was chomping at the bit to get in there against TCB so he tagged her in. The crowd popped each time the two ladies landed a strike on one another or a counter maneuver. When the opportunity presented itself, Black tagged himself in and raked Keaton's eyes blinding her before he grabbed her hair and began punching her viciously in the throat multiple times until Levi tried to get in the ring and stop him. Black taunted Levi and laughed in his face before focusing back on Beth. He and TCB took turns on Beth here until Chambers got tired of watching his teammate be abused and belittled by this tenacious little bastardy tag team. Chambers was able to by Beth some time to recover and to then ultimately tag him back in. He was able to get control back of the match but thanks to some dastardly distraction by Black, TCB was able to connect with The Crimson Kiss (Cutter). She went for the pin but Keaton broke it up at the last second. TCB wasn't too thrilled about this and mouthed off at Beth until Chambers rolled her up for a quick count.

The match went on like this for quite some time until Levi decided to turn the tables on Elijah and playing a trick on him which lead to Beth Keaton hitting her patented Avalanche Sheer Drop Orange Crush Smoothie '91 (Jumping DDT) on him to pick up the victory.

WINNERS: BETH KEATON & LEVI CHAMBERS VIA PINFALL (19:32)

After the match TCB and Elijah scowled their enemies as they watched them celebrate their victory until the show came to an end.
