I thought we had a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. Help would be appreciated!

When you go to load the game you need to put the name of the save when you go to load as no names appear.

Simply look at what the name of the save is such as "HWL" then enter it into the text box to the left of the load button.

I think we should make a complaint to windows!! LOL

do a search *.ehm on your hard drive.
you have to unzip at the funkiest place windows will tell you. it will end up as something like :

library/local files/user/fanpuck/my documents/programs/ehm/saves/hwl

it is NOT in program files/ehm/saves/hwl
for some reason, no matter how you upload it there, it won't work.

my issue with EHM was getting the actual program to open on windows 7. The solution to that is going the EHM folder in program files and selecting the eastside.exe file. Right click, select properties and then check the box that says run as administrator. You also need to set it to compatibility mode which lets you run the program as if you're using windows xp.

It is and it will, I've been running it from there since the beta.

Even run as admin you don't technically need to do, depends if you're already selected as the admin. I just run it in compatibility mode and run in XP SP 2 and I'm good. Just had to do it last week after I re-formatted my laptop.

Nice! The compatibility mode worked even though I couldn't get the ocx files registered correctly!

Still having issues with Player Scout, though.

Is it the MSSTDFMT.dll file?

I had to go download it seperately and then register it through command promt

i swear that if I try to extract the files in program files / ehm / saves / hwl, directly, it won't work.

This is where I'm running into problems. I can't seem to get the dll registered.

I had the same problem but Brian was able to help me out. Here is what he sent me:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msstdfmt

*put file in EHM folder with playerscout 1.5

*ran cmd as administrator (right click, select run as admin)

*navigated to ehm folder in cmd

*"regsvr32 msstdfmt.dll"

Apparently that works

Finally figured it out. Had to do a search for cmd.exe so that there was something for me to right click on that allowed me to run as an Admin.

Thanks everyone!
