Share with us the origin of your HS username and/or XBL gamertag. I'm sure they all have interesting stories, and I know there's plenty of people on here (like Oxas Mant for example) who's name I'm dying to know the origin of. I'll start off. Here's a list of all of my previous usernames and their origins: BlueScreen: This is NOT the blue screen of death from Halo 2 or when your PC crashes. It actually came from back in the early days of Halo 2, before I had my own xbox, I would go over to my friend's house and play. I really enjoyed sticking people with plasma grenades, and somehow always managed to get them in the face (hence the blue screen). Still before getting XBL, I joined Halogrid forums and decided to make that my username since it was the only "alias" I really had. R1LL: Eventually I realized that the "bluescreen" thing was really stupid, and decided to just go with my IRL nickname. When I finally got XBL, however, the gamertag "Rill" was already taken. So, after much deliberation and many attempts at weird alternate spellings, I finally realized that if I capitalized every letter and made the I a 1, it still looked pretty normal and wasn't taken. I've decided to go with that, and in a way this style has grown on me. Hence... AUREL1EN: Recently, not many people IRL call me Rill anymore. It was mostly my friends from NJ that did it, and for some reason once I moved to Texas, it just didn't sound normal anymore when people said it. I have no idea why. Not even my girlfriend calls me Rill. My 3 closest friends, however, alternate between Aurelien and Rill. So, since I was beginning to outgrow the name, I changed my gamertag (and eventually username for everything) to AUREL1EN, which follows the same style I know and love (and yes, I know it's not exactly "13375P34K" and that the Es could be 3s, but that just looked stupid, and that's not what the point is). You guys may feel free to call me Rill, R1LL, Aurelien, or AUREL1EN, I really don't care. And that's pretty much it Now who's next?

T-rex Spartan (my Triblox user name) : This idea came from when I was joining Triblox and it was based on a user name I had else where which was T-rex-king, but I decided to do something different. Unfortunately, it was not creative and I hate it, but yet I don't want to change it. Tyrannosaurus: This idea came from the fact that the previous username was stupid and...actually I don't know why I picked a dinosaur name. White Fang 1992 (my gamertag) : After trying to think of possible names for my LIVE account, White Fang the novel came to mind and I tried entering it, only to find it was taken. Not feeling like coming up with possible alterations, I added the year I was born at the end and it worked. |

Araden64: Has been my email for years, and was my first gamertag, and I haven't changed it since. I named it after Araden, my home village in Iraq, which has been around for at least 2500 years. Araden translated from Old Aramaic means "Land of Eden." The 64 stands for 1964, year my dad was born. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Araden You can clearly see why it's called the land of eden in this photo. http://www.bakhdida.net/Letters/araden______.jpg |

My gamertag: Dempsey1993: Tgink, it's not really hard. Username: Romeo Delta: Romeo is R, and Delta is D in the phonetic alphabet, which RD is my initials... Not my full initails, but I don't think Romeo Mike Papa Juliet Delta would fit. |

You're Dempsey, Romeo? I remember the user Dempsey. I joined the website turbosquid in order to download 3d models. I was only going to be there temporarily, so I registered as temp2445 (random numbers I chose). Then I joined some other website, where I was new, hence the name newguy2445. Yeah, not a very cool history. But I like the name newguy. |

Zendric: This has been really my only personal callsign/username for anything Internet. Came from a semi-obscure book series a read when I was younger. Though some may remember... chillz539: This was my dad's callsign during his MW4 days, so I decided to use it for my Xbox Gamertag upon getting one. |

My name here comes from Back when I played Ghost Recon I never liked naming my account so i would just scroll down quickly pressing "X" until i got to the Submit button and the Name AS1 came out. Back when I got Halo 3 I wanted "AS1" As a service tag but no cigar so I made my name A51 it was close and I stuck with it. -My First XBL Gamertag: Head2dashot its my yahoo email and i got the name from a computer game i used to play. Forgot the name though. -My Current XBL Gamertag: Cpl.Spencner Its a little tribute to my dad since he was a Corporal in the USMC and since I'm fascinated in the military I made it my gamertag. Also I spelled my last name wrong because I wasn't paying attention. -My Old TB Name: Spartan-A51 Simply because I made the account a year before I stopped playing Halo 3. It was My H3 Service Tag and the Fact that I played as a Spartan. -New TB Name: A51 Self-explanatory... |
