I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I LOVE organization. Not necessarily just on my computer, but throughout my life. Recently, I've come across more stuff to organize my life, and I want to know what you guys use to organize your lives, and share with everyone. This site is for discussing features and describing what you use. Anyone can post what they use, and if it's clear and concise, describing what you use, it will be featured in this post. For Example, the next post is about an application called Evernote. Evernote |

Evernote Evernote is an application/program available on PC/Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices. It's pretty much a collection of sticky notes that you can upload and share via the web. You can make a text note, an ink note (if you have a drawing tablet, or anything stylus enabled), video notes and audio notes. If you work with several people on one project, you can share your notebook between several people, up to 60GB a month for free, and so much more for $5 a month ($45 a year?). I used to have a sticky note system above my desk, where I'd put sticky notes on the side of a shelf, but I ran out of room for more notes a couple of weeks ago. I'd have to finish tasks I wasn't really prepared to finish in order to put more sticky notes up, or hide sticky notes by putting one on top of the other. It was a pretty messy system, and A51 can testify for me, it was kind of cluttered. Since getting Evernote, I don't have to worry about whether the notes will stick to the shelf or whether I have enough room. They have a tagging system too, so I can just search by tags instead of having to read every note to find what I'm looking for. |

Very Helpful. But the two things I use for organization are : Sticky Notes(The default windows 7(and vista?) program) Notes The default note program for mobile iDevices And Free Notes(iPod Application) a more sophisticated version of Notes, with the ability to organize by date and title, along with the ability to email an individual note or all my notes. I usually use these for things I deem important. For Sticky Notes I use or to remember things like song or show titles and other Internet things, sometimes I use it for reminders for things I need to do. For Notes it's just like a mobile version of sticky notes. I use it for song names urls and other junk n biz. Free Notes however is very different. I use it for 90% of my planning with stories and comics. I have character notes and Arc notes. I use it to organize my schedule throughout the day and to write down important things. |
