I'm interested to know what everybody here is either studying to become, or what they currently do as a living. On old HSF, everybody was in highschool, just playing games and having fun, but I suppose by now everybody is growing up and preparing to enter the real world. Personally I'm studying Multimedia Design at University, 1 more year to go and frankly I'm not feeling too optimistic about finding a job after I finish my Bachelors. What about you? |

I'm planning on going to Berklee College of Music or Stevens Institute of Technology and majoring in Performance in Music, specifically drumset performance in electronic focused genres. I want to minor in Audio Engineering and Philosophy. Applications are sent, interviews and auditions soon, so we'll see. |

Nope, still in High School suck it everyone. (I do plan on going to Wayne State University though, most likely for a bio major but you never know.) Edited by ChocalateDog, Sep 5 2012, 09:34 PM.

Trying to get into the police. Recruitment isn't open yet though, so it's the waiting game. |

Currently? I work at a grocery store. But that's just part time shit- not the real deal. (I hope that's not the end of the line for anyone) I'm at John Abbott College, taking all the necessary courses (chemistry, high math) to get into the Dental Hygiene career program. Yeah, dental hygienist. I'm pretty sure I'm the last person you want in your mouth, though. |

I'm at the University of North Texas, majoring in computer science. I hope to get into game design, specifically AI programming if I can. I'd really love to do some super advanced AI work. My future goal of a side project is to make a Porygon program that literally thinks it's a pokemon, and behaves exactly as an actual Porygon would, and maybe even letting it evolve into Porygon2 and Porygon-Z every time I make major upgrades to it. Considering Porygon is actually a pokemon that came from a computer program, this would mean that I would have successfully made a real life pokemon, and thus my dream would be complete. But that's a side project. My actual job would be working for some video game company. I would have loved to work for 343, but the location isn't exactly ideal, not to mention I would have to start way smaller haha. |

My plans for after school are pretty shifty right now. My main plan is to enroll into the Regular Officer Training Program or ROTP to get a degree in something probably Military and Strategic Studies. After I graduate I become a fully fledged officer in the Canadian Forces and serve for four years mandatory. Of course I will probably serve for longer than that if I get my way and make this my career. I'm not 100% sure on the specifics as of yet as I'm only fifteen but with my cadets program I've been given alot of insight into my plan from enlisted personnel. Wish me luck! |
