Day 1, Morning, 8:00 AM The city streets seemed rather deserted just as he arrived at the city. Looking around the residential areas, it was quiet - by far too quiet, in fact. Neil had little. Just a dagger and some basic clothes. But at least it was a start, should anything happen. Neil began exploring from his vantage point, thinking about the present situation. He wondered why this place was abandoned, but simply shrugged it off for now. Edited by Neil Anderson, Jun 29 2014, 05:05 AM.

Day 1, Morning, 8:05 AM Neil finally located an abandoned house, and pondered the situation here. He was seriously tempted to just leave this place, but the urgency of the situation made it rather unseemly to even remotely consider leaving this place. Neil had heard bad rumors about this place. Anyone that entered here - never came back out again. How or why, even the military didn't know. But there was no choice. Many of the other communities were also plagued with the same problem, and nobody could even remotely gain answers, except for signs of zombies of all things. Zombies? Crazy talk he thought. Everyone knows that zombies don't exist. Still, the silence here was too ominous, so Neil proceeded cautiously. |

Day 1, Morning, 8:15 AM Neil noticed a campsite nearby, with a lone person. Deciding to investigate, Neil wondered what he knew. Merch: "Fancy that. Another potential 'survivor'. Are you wondering what's going on here?" Avadon: "Yes, I would appreciate that. Along with any other advice you can give." Ballun: "I'm Ballun, the leader in these parts. The rumors about this place are true, actually. There are zombies out there." Avadon: "No way... I thought they were a fantasy, a myth... But I guess I'll believe you." Ballun: "I suppose you want to see my wares?" Avadon: "No money. Perhaps I can do a mission for you?" Ballun: "I guess you could. Find me a tailor, and I will award you with $75.00, plus some basic supplies. Deal?" Avadon: "You got yourself a deal. I'll try to find such. But one last question. What the hell went wrong with this place?" Ballun: "If even the military doesn't know - why would I know? Still, we know it began about 2 weeks ago, but that's it." Avadon: "I'll be back. Zombies or no zombies, it would be a good thing to gather people here." Ballun: "Good luck then. I'd check some of the nearby houses. I think there was a tailor in one of these places, hoping for someone to rescue him." Edited by Neil Anderson, Jun 29 2014, 04:46 PM.

Day 1, Morning, 8:30 AM Neil had found a small house that looked boarded. Just as Neil approached, he noticed his first zombies around the house. "So he was right... By the looks of things, this house looks quite active." Neil said, cautious approaching the area. Looking for another way into the house, he located a back door and cautiously knocked on the door, seeing if anyone would answer. As he did so, a tailor opened the door. "About time someone came and rescued me. I've been waiting here for other survivors for quite some time." Neil: "What made you stay?" Tailor: "These zeds aren't going to vanish any time soon. If it wasn't for the military, I would've been dead already, but at least I have quite a lot of supplies. But that's the problem. Even the government in these parts has become quite corrupt. But let's spare the details about that for now. So, are you the only one?" Neil: "There's a nearby merchant called Ballun. I'm to deliver you to him. He probably will employ you considering how your a tailor." Tailor: "My name's 'Ken, what's yours?" Neil: "Neil Anderson. Shall we go?" Ken: "Sure. Finally more people." New Market Features: 'basic supplies' now possible. Edited by Neil Anderson, Jun 29 2014, 05:00 PM.

Day 1, 9:15 AM Ballun: "Good job. I knew you had what it takes. Truth is, there's quite a few survivors even though the military abandoned this place. But this disaster is more prevalent than you think. I know of quite a few communities that are also infested with these zeds for some or another reason, and nobody really knows why they exist. What I can gather is that many of the zombies are spreading some kind of toxin, thus causing more to appear. But how or why they are doing such is a mystery." Neil: "Well, it's apparent we should try to locate other people. I'll work on doing that, and you should stay here. Agreed?" Ballun: "Here's the money and supplies as promised. Just don't waste this pistol, ok? I'm certain that you will need stronger equips, but at least this will do for now." Ken: "Keep an eye out for rogues and bandits. Those scum deserve to die." Neil: "Hmm... what do you know, Ken?" Ken: "You may be able to gain a hockey mask from the ringleaders, if your into such things. I can tailor a light bandit's mask for you now, if you like, however." Neil: "Try for warmer clothing. If we cannot make a fire, that's the next best thing, ok?" Ken: "I was thinking the same. Nights here are pretty cold. But wouldn't it be better if we operate from my house?" Ballun: "It's ok. These buildings here are well-defended. This is a public safe-zone, in fact." Ken: "Dang... can't beat that." Neil: "So, how much will you pay me?" Ballun: "I'll pay you $15.00 per person you rescue, plus a hardtack ration. I have stores to supply nearly 200 people for 6 months here, but I'm not receiving supplies either." Neil: "So we need to find a farming site, secure a path for delivery, and locate more people?" Ballun: "I have a truck in these buildings, but no fuel. Locate a supply of fuel first, and I'll give you a better pistol plus apc bullets. Rumors abound of things more dangerous than these zeds..." Neil: "Agreed. I'll do it at my convenience." Ballun: "Don't take too long. People need 'savin, ya know." Edited by Neil Anderson, Jun 29 2014, 06:09 PM.

Day 1, 9:35 AM, "Survivor Hunting" Neil decided it was time to find other survivors. Most survivors would work on trying to find safezones like these, but it was apparent they needed to be directed to such areas in the first place. The problem, however, was that there was plenty of zombies to deal with in finding those survivors, and most would run out of supplies rather quickly. But on the flipside, there was still hope for others to be alive as well. Thus, Neil began his process towards hunting for other survivors. Edited by Neil Anderson, Jun 29 2014, 06:35 PM.

Day 1, 9:45 AM, "Survivor Hunting" Neil decided to check the smaller houses first. Heading to the nearest ones, he located a trailer park with a group of zombies roaming the area. A couple of the trailers were clearly locked, and some people were residing in them. But they were too afraid to come out. Neil: "Hello. I'm here to try saving you." H1: "Too risky with the zombies around!" Neil: "Ok, I'll clear them out first." Taking his pistol, he fired at the group of zombies, eliminating them quickly. But this only brought more zeds. H1: "Dude! Kor... if you must kill the zombies with a gun, at least put a silencer on it. Fine. I'll come. But only if you promise to protect us. Last time someone tried to save us, he died and we barely re-entered these houses before more arrived. At the least, though, take this. I craft miscellaneous goods." 3 citizens exited the trailers. "We know the drill. I hope your better than the last person. He didn't last 5 minutes with those zombies. Bring us to a safezone, and I'll tell you where to locate some fuel, along with give you some useful supplies." Neil agreed. |

Day 1, 9:55 AM, "Survivor Hunting" As the zombies began to approach the trailer park, noticing the group of 4 living people Neil Anderson began firing at the zeds carefully, intent only on protecting the people so they could flee the trailer park before the zombies would realize they could topple the trailers in the first place. It was a brutal situation, and the zeds only kept coming with wave after wave of such. Even with ammo conservation, it was tough for Neil to defend the survivors. Neil: "Dang... those zeds are tenacious and rather frequent. Now, follow me." 15 minutes later... Neil was out of ammo, even clips. But they barely reached the safety of the camp. In thanks for the assistance, the survivors gave Neil a pouch, let him keep the silencer, and waited for Neil to ask where the fuel was. Neil: "So, where's the fuel?" P1: "Not so fast. While you managed to save our lives, there's a few things that need to be done. As long as the factories are active, that's going spell disaster. There's one factory in particular that begun work on strong combat supplies recently. I was a worker there until the zombies arrived. Barely made it to that trailer park. Here's a map of the place. Since your going to do a lot of adventures in these parts, you will need much more than us. We'll work on defending this place, as it's quite dangerous out there. You definitely handled yourself quite well, in fact." Ballun: "Good job. Here's $45.00 and 3 pieces of hardtack." Neil: "Make it 1, and the other 2, double munitions, ok?" Ballun: "Whoa, now your talking. It will be $8.00 for a double clip, ok?" Neil: "Deal. I need 3 presently." Ballun: "That leaves $26.00." Neil has $101.00 on him now.
