Well in MH1 I was all about the GS, then in MHFU Long Swords, and a lot of SnS in Tri so... who knows! Theres so much choice now too, it'll be a tough decision. All i can say for sure is it will probably be melee, not a massive fan of ranged weapons |

I have sold my soul to the GS so ...well this will be my main . I also can use hammers pretty decently if the need to break some jaws arise (looking at you uragaan)... Planning to collect all SnS and LS too Not much of a range or support type though |

I use samurai sword, GS, and hammer. sometimes Bow It is always good to have different weapon users in a group so we wont end up cutting each other's combo. especially GS might end up flying teammates up in the air. IMO unless well developed team GS in a group is not as effective as in solo. |

Obviously a guy who use the GS upward slash in a melee next to his teammates is either a newb (we all start there, no hard feelings) or an a***ole. I agree however that it is a weapon better suited for soloing stuff but the same can be said for LS (trip hell) or Switch axe (king of take-off ) or Hammer (Super pound ftw). ...What is important in the end is what you yourself enjoy playing and then it is up to each of us to be mindful of our teamates and not go using launchers next to them.

Lol, agreed, that's one of the things i enjoy about this game, you have to be mindful of your surroundings as well as what the big bad beasty is up to! As a plus, using launchers when the quest is over and everyone has carved can make for a good minigame |

Yeah the server merge is a good idea and I'm glad they're doing it! Did they merge the servers in Tri? |
