The reason for this topic is to help fellow writers and to help yourself if you are not sure about your character.

The rules are simple.

For those posting:
- Be honest with your post by putting ALL their traits, appearance details, age, and name. Also, add details to those entries, like if those traits/details are important to the plot.
- If you are being critiqued, don't take as a personal attack. If you believe you need to defend something about your character, then professionally do so. Otherwise, recognize why the person found a reason to say something.

For those evaluating:
- Be honest but NOT brutally honest. Do not butcher their character or insult the writer, but instead, tell them what needs to go and offer ideas that can help them.
- My rule is always encourage the growing writer and not beat them down. And the number one thing I do not tolerate is arrogant, holier-than-thou, "experienced" writers who feel the need to talk down to aspiring writers who are hungry to learn. We are writers, that makes us both teachers and students.
