Scene One: Suffolk County Courthouse in Boston. This morning, an arraignment is on the docket, as Libby is being charged with criminal facilitation.

CLERK: Docket ending #52175 People of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts vs. Elizabeth Atchison. Charged with first degree criminal facilitation to commit murder.
JUDGE: Ms. Atchison, what is your plea?
LIBBY (defiantly): Not guilty!
JUDGE: People on bail, Mr. Marchant?
MR. MARCHANT (executive District Attorney, and one of Camilla's bosses): Remand, your honor.
DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Libby Atchison is a vital member of this community. She has ties to this city.
MR. MARCHANT: She has numerous financial resources at her disposal that she could use to flee jurisdiction. We're also going to charge her under RICO laws.
DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Your HONOR!
JUDGE: The charge enhancements will be added, Ms. Morrissey. Defendant is remanded.
LIBBY: This cannot be!
MORRISSEY: We'll get this remedied and get you out on bail.
LIBBY: I hope so!

(Libby is hauled off to jail)

Scene Two: Logan Airport. The Atkinsons are returning to town.

LIANE: I am glad that Dylan is enjoying the townhouse.
CLIFF: Yes, he is enjoying it. But he had some sadness too.
MARK: Yes, he did.
LIANE: Oh, yeah! I remember, he lost Alex. Oh, my GOD!
CLIFF: Your grandmother called us and told us.
LIANE: Which is why we're here now, right?
CLIFF: Yes, honey. That is why we're here. We found a new townhouse over on the east end of Louisburg Square.
LIANE: That will be good.
MARK: There's Grandmother.
(The family gets to Jane who is thrilled.)
JANE: Welcome home, loves.
CLIFF: Thank you, Jane.
MARK: We're home.
JANE: That is good.

(the Atkinsons return to Boston)

Scene Three: Dylan's townhouse. Sheila is looking into Dylan's room. He is lying in bed, holding his new teddy bear.

SHEILA: Morning, sweetie.
DYLAN: Morning, Sheila. How are you?
SHEILA: Been busy already. Going to the design studio in a bit. What are you doing today?
DYLAN: Haven't thought it out yet.
SHEILA: Well, I got some good news for you. Yesterday, Libby Atchison was arrested.
DYLAN: That is good news.
SHEILA: There IS some bad news, though. She is charged with facilitation.
DYLAN: I kind of guessed. Since she did order the killing but did not carry it out.
SHEILA: She was arraigned this morning, and she was remanded without bail.
DYLAN: That is indeed good news. She won't be out until her trial.
SHEILA: Yeah, but her attorney, Anita Morrissey will try to stop that one.
DYLAN: I know, she is a nasty woman.
SHEILA: Don't worry, cousin. She will not get out.
DYLAN: I talked with Barry, he and I are going to take a walk around the Commons today, so that will be where I will be. I will have my phone on me if something comes up.
SHEILA: That is good.

(Sheila gives her cousin a hug and she heads downstairs.)

Scene Four: Cory's condo. It's evening. He and Amy had just gotten back from a concert at the Symphony.

AMY: Those seats were EXCELLENT, Cory.
CORY: When your family helped donate a good amount of money to Symphony Hall, then you can get away with it.
AMY: Wow, you match up to the Harpers, money for money.
CORY: Compared to the Harpers, the Jablonskis are small time.
AMY: I am sure.
CORY: Why did they downsize to move to Beacon Hill?
AMY: It made more sense. They knew that the academy was growing and it needed to become more with the times.
CORY: That is good, indeed.
AMY: I don't know what else to think. But they have become great additions to Louisburg Square.
CORY: I have a surprise for you, Amy.
AMY (intrigued): What is it, Cory?
(Cory produces a box out of his jacket pocket)
CORY: Will you marry me, Amy Smythe?

(Amy is thunderstruck)

Scene Five: WBOS-TV. Caitlin Lambert is watching the television. She is thunderstruck at what is going on.

ANNOUNCER: A stunning event took place at the arraignment of Libby Atchison for the ordered kill of Beacon Hill resident Alex Corwin Harper. Libby's attorney, Anita Morrissey has stated that she is putting up the amount of $50,000 for her client to be out on bail. The judge has not been too open to that idea.
CAITLIN: Oh, DAMN it! Craig!
(Enter Craig Atchley)
CRAIG: What is going on?
CAITLIN: Look!
(Craig groans)
CRAIG: I hope Dylan doesn't find out about that!
(Cut to: Dylan's home, where he DOES hear about it!)
DYLAN: Nooooooooooooooooo!
(Barry is there to comfort him)
BARRY: This is too much!
(Enter Allen and Audra)
ALLEN: We heard. I called Sheila.
AUDRA: And I called Michael.

(Dylan is sobbing)

(Voice of Cote de Pablo: "Harpers Falls will continue in a moment, here on ONtv.")

Scene Six: Suffolk County Courthouse.

MORRISSEY: Libby, I am going to get you out.
LIBBY: How?
MORRISSEY: A bit of chicanery; not to mention a boatload of lies.
LIBBY: My kind of lawyer!
MORRISSEY: You will stay at my mansion in Lynn. That is out of the jurisdiction, and they couldn't lay hands on you.
LIBBY: That is fantastic.
MORRISSEY: I am using my own money for this.
LIBBY: A shame that nobody will realize what we're doing!
(Hiding in an office. Linda is horrified. She watches her sister and lawyer going down the hallway.)
LINDA: Not on your life, sister dear. Jail is where you are, and jail is where you will remain!

(Linda goes to talk to a deputy about what she heard. He is stunned, and goes to the judge.)

Scene Seven: Dylan's house.

ALLEN: It's all right, pal. She won't get out.
DYLAN: It's not FAIR!
BARRY: I know. This is beyond the pale it is.
(Enter Sheila)
SHEILA: What the hell happened?
BARRY: They are talking that Libby is going to be let out on bail!
SHEILA: The hell they will! I won't let that happen!
ALLEN: Not by a long shot.
AUDRA: I am calling the judge.
(Enter Linda)
LINDA: You heard!
SHEILA: Yeah, we did.
LINDA: I hope that I was able to put a stop to it.
AUDRA: What do you mean?
LINDA: I talked with the judge, and I called Anyssa Forson. She found out too. She was ANGRY!
(The group comforts Dylan. Cliff and Liane Atkinson come in.)
CLIFF: How is he, Sheila?
SHEILA: Pretty broken up, I'd say, Cliff.
LIANE: Isn't there anything we can do, Daddy?
CLIFF: There IS. Linda? That is your name, right?
LINDA: Yes.
CLIFF: I am going to the courthouse. I need you to come with me, ok?
LINDA: Ok.

(Cliff and Linda go to his car and go to the Courthouse.)

Scene Eight. Suffolk County Courthouse. An hour later. Anyssa; Cliff and Linda are in a judge's chambers, and all three are furious.

ANYSSA: Judge, this is outrageous.
JUDGE: I agree, Mrs. Forson.
CLIFF: Can't she be remanded?
JUDGE: The judge should be reprimanded for what he did.
LINDA: She is a menace on the outside. I know. She is my sister!
JUDGE: Judge Brinkerstein will be removed. I will see to it. If you want, I will take the case myself.
ANYSSA: I would consider this a great favor, Judge Fleming.
JUDGE GWEN FLEMING: I would be glad to, Mrs. Forson.
LINDA: You would make sure she stays behind bars?
JUDGE FLEMING: Absolutely.
CLIFF: We may not have time, a bail hearing has been set up.
JUDGE FLEMING: I talked with the bailiff, and that has been cancelled.
LINDA: My telling the bailiff worked.
CLIFF: That is good news, Linda.

(the group is relieved.)

Scene Nine: Dylan's house.

SHEILA: Wonderful news, thanks, Sis.
(Barry is comforting Dylan, who is clinging to his teddy bear and sobbing)
BARRY: Dyl, she won't get out. No judge in their right minds would.
SHEILA: Barry's right, sweetheart. I just talked with Anyssa. She is NOT getting out at all.
(Dylan is in tears, but they are joyful tears.)
DYLAN: That is good.
SHEILA: It all works out, honey.
(Barry allows Dylan to lie down and fall asleep)
BARRY: That woman is a monster.
SHEILA: She's locked up now, and she won't harm Dylan again!
BARRY: I want to see her convicted.
SHEILA: You, me and everyone else on Louisburg Square!
BARRY: Not to mention the whole of Boston.
SHEILA: That too.

(Barry looks in on a sleeping Dylan and his heart fills. It's a strange feeling. He is deeply in love with Dylan, but he knows Dylan is still mourning Alex. He is taking his time.)

Scene Ten: Courtroom at the courthouse.

LIBBY: I have made the conditions for my bail.
JUDGE: I suggest that we look this over.
(Enter Anyssa)
ANYSSA: NO! I have some evidence for the court.
JUDGE: Order! Approach the bench, Mrs. Forson.
ANYSSA: Forgive my lack of decorum, but this is for you.
(Judge Brinkerstein is furious, but he knows that he has to recuse himself.)
JUDGE: I am sorry, Ms. Atchison, and you too, Miss Morrissey. I have to recuse myself from this case.
MORRISSEY: You can't do this. Who is taking over?
(Enter Judge Fleming)
FLEMING: Me!
(Libby glares at her)
LIBBY: How DARE you!
FLEMING: I knew what you and your lawyer did. And I don't approve of this!
LIBBY: What are you saying?
FLEMING: Bail revoked, back to remand. Court adjourned.

(Libby is hauled back to jail; Morrissey is also taken to a holding cell for contempt of court)

(Voice of Julia Barr: "On the Next Harpers Falls...")

LIBBY (to her new lawyer): You can't be SERIOUS!

AMY (to Cody): Yes, I would LOVE to marry you.

LINDA (to Alexandra): You and my sister dear are both doomed!
