The day began as normal for everyone at the Futura. Sarah Jo was in her office, and was working on some paperwork. Aaron Atherton was working at the Spinning Saturn, while Rusty Brown was watching Aidan as he colored some pictures.

"Don't these look great, Unca Rusty?" Aidan asked.

"They look wonderful, sport," Rusty smiled, drinking in the fact that the little boy was happy.

For the first time since his mother rejected him, Rusty thought, things are sane for him. he has family who loves him, and that is what the little guy needs.

Just then, a large SUV pulled into the parking lot. Marie Jensen stepped out, ready to check them in.

"Hey, Sarah Jo," Marie called, "do you recognize this car that pulled up?"

"I certainly do!" Sarah Jo smiled, "it's my parents!"

Her parents came in, loaded with bags and everything.

"Mom," she called, "Daddy!"

Adam McArthur hugged his daughter, "Princess," he said, "how's my girl?"

"I missed you, Daddy," she said.

Andrea Sherman hugged her daughter. "You look glorious, sweetie," she said.

"And so do you, Mom," Sarah Jo smiled. She loved both her parents, but it was obvious she gained her business smarts from her mother; and was every inch her daddy's girl.

Rusty and Aidan came up to see the group.

"Mother, Daddy," Sarah Jo said, "I believe I told you that I am a support care giver for a little boy? Well, here is that little boy. Aidan Atherton, this is my mother and father. Adam McArthur, my father, and Andrea Sherman, my mother."

Aidan extended his little hand, "Hi there," he said, somewhat shyly.

"Nice to meet you," Andrea said, "no need to be scared."

"Good to meet you," Adam said, shaking his hand.

"This is Rusty Brown, who also helps with the caregiving," Sarah Jo said, "and here's Aidan's father, Aaron Atherton."

"Mr. McArthur," Aaron smiled, "Ms. Sherman, very good to meet you all."

"Where is Jennifer?" Andrea asked.

"She and I are no longer friends," Sarah Jo said, softly but angrily, "I don't know if you knew what happened."

"Tell us, honey," Adam said.

After getting some others to man the desk, the rest of the family met in one of the spare meeting rooms.

"By the way, Mom, Daddy, this is Dave and Cathy Rizzo, Aaron's parents and Aidan's grandparents;" she introduced, "and Jeff and Nate Atherton, Aaron's brothers. So, it's a large family affair here. Also here, are Marie Jensen, our desk clerk; Liz Wallingford, a floor manager at the Spinning Saturn and Mary Lynn Anderson our head of PR. My second in command, Joan Neuenworth, is downstairs, you will meet her and the others later."

"Sounds serious, Princess," Adam said.

"It is, Daddy," Sarah Jo said, "I am no longer friends with Jennifer, because of some of the things she did."

"What happened, dear?" Andrea asked.

"She never loved Aaron, or Aidan," she said, "insulted everyone, has been completely reckless and past the point of caring about anyone!"

"I knew it," Adam said, "there was always something about her that struck me as false."

"Her recklessness is a problem," Andrea admitted, "so, what is it you need, dear?"

"I am opening up a permanent place for you," Sarah Jo said, "and with a lot of work, Aidan will not be completely without family."

"We talked with Sarah Jo," Dave Rizzo said, "and Cathy and I agree that your input will be much helpful. Jennifer and her family want nothing to do with Aidan, and that is something we can't approve of."

"Of course we will do that," Andrea said, "Jennifer will see that Aidan will thrive."

Just then, Joan Neuenworth came in, with a visibly shaken Aidan.

"Joan," Sarah Jo said, "what's wrong?"

"It's Jennifer," she said, "she threatened Aidan, and he ran right to me."

"Where's Rusty?" Sarah Jo asked.

"He's confronting her right now," Joan said, "but I think you all are needed."

Sarah Jo took little Aidan in her arms, "Don't worry, sweetie," she said softly, "that woman won't hurt you, as long as we're here."

"Aunt Sarah Jo's right, buddy," Aaron came up to his shaken son, "we're here, and we won't let her get to you."

Andrea looked at the scared little boy, and how Sarah Jo was calming him.

I can understand why Sarah Jo is helping him, she thought, Jennifer Barrett has gone too far, and she will be stopped.

As everyone else went down the escalator to the main lobby, Rusty and Jennifer were at it.

"How many ways do we have to tell you?" Rusty stormed, "Leave Aidan alone, all you are doing is scaring him!"

"So what?" Jennifer screeched, "I will make myself felt and feared in that little boy!"

"I DON'T THINK SO!" a voice sounded.

Jennifer was stopped at the sound of that voice, it was Andrea Sherman who yelled.

"There is no way you will go anywhere near that little boy!" she ordered, "Not while my husband and I are here."

"Oh my god!" Jennifer sneered, "Typical of you, McArthur! Having to call in Mommy and Daddy to help you fight your battles!"

"You did," Sarah Jo snapped, "having your parents not have anything to do with their grandchild!"

"They believe the same way that I do!" Jennifer laughed, "My parents care about me, and me alone!"

"You leave my daughter alone," Adam said coldly, "and don't you harass her or our grandson again!"

Andrea was touched, and so was Sarah Jo.

"You mean?" Sarah Jo asked.

"Yes," Adam said, "Aidan has another set of grandparents. Me and Andrea."

Dave and Cathy was touched as well. "Welcome to the family," Cathy said, hugging Andrea.

"Thank you, Ms. Rizzo," Andrea said.

Jennifer looked sick, "This is turning my stomach," she said nastily.

"Then leave!" Albie Neuenworth, who was with the group, said acidly, "Nobody wants you around here! Go back to that husband of your's whom you so love!"

"Not until I have had my say!" Jennifer said.

"What you have to say," Cathy said, "no one wants to hear, not now, not ever!"

"This isn't over!" Jennifer yelled as she turned on her heel, "It will never be over, until I am the victor!"

"As if that would ever happen!" Sarah Jo sneered at her, "The day you will win will be the day hell freezes over!"

Jennifer glared at her, "You're gonna pay for that, Sarah Jo McArthur," she said angrily, "Oh, how you will pay for that!"

Then turning on her heel, Jennifer stormed out.

She got back to her penthouse at the Peabody Hotel near Universal. Zach was excited.

"Who does that Sarah Jo McArthur think she is?!" Jennifer sneered.

"Maybe this, my love," Zach said, "will knock the wind out of her sails."

Jennifer smiled, it was a blue print of a new resort near Universal.

"She can rule the roost at Disney," Zach smiled, "while we rake in the profits here at Universal."

Jennifer grinned, "Great idea, darling," she said, "Sarah Jo McArthur and my loser ex and the rest can have it! We will make this an enclave for the wealthy, our kind of people."

The two danced. This was the tonic Jennifer needed.
