That's a better one

Plenty going on and plenty of people popping in to check us out.

As My DH game was cancelled I helped out Colin and Will
Shame because the table looked good - below

(when I say helped out it didn't take them long to work out the game mechanics) For me I have to forget the D10 and just work things out from the modifiers Shooting value, weapons value, movement - yours and theirs then think about the D10. I like this game for the same reasons as DMH, you only need about seven to ten figures and you have an Explorers club, Gentlemen's club, Queens rifle company or some other type of Victorian gathering and away you go and as with DMH you don't need to stick with the makers figures there are a huge amount of great Victorian minis out there I think the bulk of Colin's are Foundry and with the rules being most insistent on the "WYSIWYG" rule you can almost pick and choose figures to suit the look you are after.

Colin was using a Ladies Hunting party and Will had good old English Bobbies!

Will and Colin settled for the "objectives" scenario but stuck with three for ease of play (rather than 6 with three Dummy's) and yet again we saw how hard it can be if your opponent has a "shootie" group when yours isn't.
Discussing the tactics after we came to the same conclusion Justin and I did a few weeks ago, that if you have a close order group, then you need to let your dastardly adversary go after the objectives then outflank him and jump him with two of your guys wrest the objective from him with one and keep him occupied with the other while you "Run Away" with the loot.

Elsewhere Al and Patrick tackled what seemed to be quite a big 40K set up (they could have also done without the WWII nerd remeasuring range in a NON GW way)

Will and Tash bought along this young gentleman suitably attired with handlebar moustache for In Her Majesty's Name

I'm happy for a 40k match mate or I could do disposable heroes instead if nobby is ok to help out with rules etc?

I'm not going to make it tonight Alex. I knackered my back earlier. Apologies for missing the match.
