Busy night great to see so much going on.
IHMN with Colin and Will by the sounds of it it was plenty of fun, maybe not for will who addmitted getting his behind handed to him by Colin and the Japanese embassy guard (I don't yet know what else to call them but it seems appropriate) I think wWill relies on his vertical translocator boots a bit too much!

40K with Alex and Newcomer Kevin
Crimson fists v Chaos not sure of the outcome but again plenty going on when I looked over.

Colin and Kevin had another run at Open Combat a nice small scale set of rules they are expanding each session.

Al and Myself did a wander through Disposable Heroes - Tommies v My usual Panzer grenadiers
We took it to five turns and declared a draw the Tommies last ditch charge to take an objective failed when an LMG gunner picked them off at the last. and there was no way I was going to take the nearest objective for myself as Al had managed to retreat towards it and it was too well covered.
Both of us kept forgeting that Lmgs can really make a difference to the tavble as they don't face the restrictions that HMG have for moving so can move and fire at reduced rates (mustn't forget this when playing US Airborne MMG are treted as LMG for movement purposes)

Next session is the last and as usual should be bound over to the rediculous
So Alex will be bringing along "Camel Up" and I will be armed with Survive/Escape Atlantis but if anyone out there has Zombies that might not go a miss as well!
I might even dig out Pirates, if I can remember where I hid it?

PHOTO'S ON FACEBOOK SITE WILL UP LOAD ONE OR TWO TO HERE LATER.

December 12

Table 1 Silliness
Table 2 More Silliness
Table 3 40K
Table 4 40K Will/Kevin

The table issue is more about having space for something particular (end of year silliness - WE play games with toy soldiers!) but is not exclusive

Yeah, if you want a proper game you need to organise your self

While I am fond of silliness, having just got my first sniff of 40k for a long time, turns out I'd quite like another bump.

So, if anyone's up for it...
Give you a 1000 point game

I'd be game for something a bit larger (as this gives you scope to try things out and use some of the more expensive stuff). 1000 points is a little too restrictive for my liking.

Could you do 1250 or better yet 1500?

I find SMALL GAME help lean the rules better but I do 1250

Sweet. I've always liked Tyranids.

See you then.

My apologies William, but I won't be able to make it tomorrow. Life's gotten in the way once again.

I was rather looking forward to two close combat armies beating the snot out of each other with a lot of dice.
