Much like the Necron Forum, please feel free to post anything to do with Tyranids here, from painting and modeling to battle experiences and tactics.

I would gladly take you up on your challenge, so long as your not daunted by fighting a very mis-mash of half-painted, non-painted, wrongly-painted and nearly painted bugs. I understand some people get very touchy about these things. My problem is that it has taken 10 years and my new beloved wife to get me into painting them. I was always the building and posing sorts, not much of a decorator.
I am currently getting over this... drawback.

Back in 3rd ed when I last played I managed to field 1500 points easily (but most of it was thanks to the abundance of bio-morphs I could put on each Nid.) and I guess currently I have 2000 points. I should be over 5k before this time next year when I estimate that I will have a full and complete Hive. B-)

Just to butt in I have put this elsewhere on the forum but to remind you that at HWGC we have a code of conduct still in place it includes WYSIWYG, painted miniatures and correctly filled out lists/rosters made out before the game. which is why I am trying to get people to come down and chat rather than bowl in and help themselves.

I used to go to what used to be "Warhammer club" when you held it in Chalkstone middle. I am aware of the "What you see is what you get" code and it is for that reason I put a disclaimer on my above post; acknowledging the fact that I do not have a fully painted army yet and that if someone does have a problem with this then they might just have to wait while I paint them.

Quite simply, if Rich does want to play then fine... so long as he personally doesn't have a problem with my 10 year old army that has come out of retirement all of 3 weeks.

Stay in touch Rich. ;)
