This is a tidied up and shortened version of the original code of conduct.
Where at all possible please respect that this has been in place in one way, shape or form for more than 10 years.

Players/spectators will respect other players figures/models and not pick them up from the table during a game or remove them from their trays/storage unless invited. Likewise do not interrupt play with rules advice unless invited.

Club fees are for the rental of the venue any monies left are for the upkeep/repair/replacement of club equipment.
The membership/payment structure is in place to guarantee the rental and keep the club Open/viable.
You will know which scheme you have signed up for and are asked to remember when payment is due.
Reminders will go out and we request that you make the payment promptly.

Gaming/Playing.
1/ The club terrain is there for your enjoyment of the game, treat it with the respect you would your own equipment. Please bear in mind that some terrain may be personal equipment and used at the club on a semi permanent basis so please respect this.

2/ Dice and measure/tape are considered personal equipment and should be supplied by the player where possible.
If your game requires specific tokens markers or templates these are also considered personal.

3/ If you have reserved a table, arrive in good time to set up with a FULL (readable) list or roster sheet made out prior to the game. (not on your list =you dont have it/cant use it)
A "Guestimate" of points value is not good enough to play. Where possible already know the scenario you are about to play.

4/ W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G - what you see is what you get.
This rule is adhered to across ALL game systems. Please be aware of this when you write up your Roster.

5/ Do not waste time arguing a rule point, Dice for it (evens You odds Me) and look it up after the game.

6/ Unless scenario specific, Terrain will be placed by a third party. Once the terrain has been placed you do not move it, you cannot expect to arrive on the battle field and move a hill or buildings just because you don't like where they are.

7/ Painted Miniatures - This is only in force for larger games on 6x4 tables and does not apply to the 4x4 tables.
For Fantasy -
ALL front rank miniatures to Correctly represent the troops they are meant to, all other ranks will be undercoated (in preparation)
40K -
A SINGLE army/Armour colour will be accepted, which means you will have at least prepared your miniatures, and painted them in the appropriate army colour.
With the amount of single base coat colours available we feel this a simple request.
This ruling also extends to the "Other" systems and again is not in force on the small tables

8/ Keep noise and taunting of your opponent to an acceptable level.
No one likes a "Beardy" player and everyone Hates a "Smug Beardy" player, in our experience these people generally lose out as other people stop playing against them.
Bad language is not necessary and will not be tolerated.

Points 1 -8 will be policed by the game system Captains.

Respect other players and other games going on around you.
Respect the facility we are using. You pay for it, Don't be the one to lose it.

And remember IT IS JUST A GAME! No matter how serious we take it!!!
