Just for your information. This was answered by Dr. Dave Holland on his site... www.thinkfungus.com message Posted By Posted Nov 15,2006 9:03 AM healthybee Hi Dr. Dave, I was wondering if yeast can grow in appple cider vinegar? I have a friend who is concerned that there is budding yeast or "vinegar eels" in her Bragg's ACV. She shook the bottle, placed a drop on a slide and checked under her microscope. She thinks she sees budding yeast. Any insight into this? If so, I need to check mine too. Thanks! Reply Edit message Posted By Posted Nov 15,2006 9:53 AM David Apparently, it's possible: http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_...24/ai_n15387323 --though I'm not sure if these tested products were all tabs or liquids. I'd take this up with Bragg's. {I thought ACV was anti fungal. Any thoughts???} |
