First posted Feb, 15, 2007 My dr told me 4years ago when I first got ill, that the only people that get systemic candida are those that are afflicted with terminal diseases like cancer and HIV...and are very close to death. So I did the diet, cleaned up my vaginal yeast infections, urinary tract infections, fingernail, toenail fungus.....and lost 60 pounds of bloat and impacted fecal material. And if I strayed from the diet, symptoms always came back...so I have known for 4 years that something was wrong...but he wouldn't listen. I asked him about dairy and gluten intolerance and he just brushed me off. My constipation was so bad at times I had to manual remove it with latex gloves and aloe vera gel. Sorry if TMI...but this is my story and it will soon be public knowledge These things have to come out....doctors have to start addressing these issues. He told me to use suppositories...that would make it easier to dig out. Nice hey? All of the female drs in his office that I saw when he was away, told me I had to get that addressed...but he just brushed me off when I mentioned it. And you can't change to other drs in the same office. 2 days before I went to emergency, I looked like I was six months pregnant and he told me to take mineral oil for a week or 2 and see if that helped....well 2 days later I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that had spread to my lg and small intestine, both ovaries and my spleen. And two of the first 3 tests that they did to diagnose the cancer that very day I was admitted, were 2 tests that I had been begging him to do for at least 3 years...the CT scan of the lower GI and the CA125 blood test for ovarian cancer that would have saved Gilda Radner's life. And this doctor and one of his residents that he teaches had told me in October that those lumps were impacted fecal material. They had no pulse, so they couldn't be tumors...that was what they agreed upon. I had been and continued until my diagnosis, massaging them and using castor oil packs to try and move them thru the colon...and they never budged cause they were tumors. When the resident did a pelvic she couldn't find my uterus, he said..."Oh I forgot to mention, she doesn't have one....she had a hysterectomy." I left that office more times than I can count on both hands crying or angry cause he wouldn't do the testing....and I knew something was wrong....and I couldn't get another dr, cause none take new patients....none of the good ones anyway. So tell me that he did his best, I don't think so!!! He thought I was paranoid cause my dad died of colon cancer 2 years ago. And the worst part of it is, he teaches new residents...I hope he tells that girl that was there that day, that it wasn't impacted fecal material after all, but advanced ovarian cancer. Sorry for the long story, but digestive issues have to be addressed...the colon needs to be working well....90% of all diseases start in the colon...and in the digestive tract...and the beginning of that digestive tract is the mouth!!!
