Yesterday evening my heart started flip flopping a little bit, so I drank some more water and took half of a magnesium tablet and half of a potassium tablet. I had plenty of sea salt with my meal. This seemed to settle the flip flops. I felt fine later.

Now this morning when I got up my heart has been racing. At one point it was about 100 beats per minute. When I sat down to drink my salt water it slowed down to 86 beats a minute. Usually it runs in the 70's. What could be causing this? Am I doing more damage than good by increasing my salt and potassium?

My bm's for the past 2 days have actually been very soft. All I've changed as really benefited me there.

It's about that time of the month for me, and my system seems to get out of whack around that time lately. Maybe that's all it is?

Heart palpitations can be caused from a fungal infection. At least that is what has caused mine. I rarely have them any more unless I have eaten a lot of flour (not from Wheat Montana, where I order mine). But when I run out of good flour I have to buy at the grocery and I get a few palpitations again.

Perhaps you are still battling a deep seated infection, possibly living IN your heart, and you will lose these sensations as you kill the fungus. It took me about 6-8 months on Doug's program to completely lose them.

Hormones can do this too. These will also do better on Doug's program. I had to add progesterone cream too. (www.optimalnaturalhealth.com)
Just my thoughts.

I use progesterone cream from Dr. Helen Pensanti. I also use mag oil/gel and iodine. The ONLY reason I take my bp pills is because my heart pounds or races if I don't.

BUT, my CALM works quickly for the heart palpitations! One of the CALM formulas has potassium, calcium and Vitamin D in it too. Dissolve it warm water, add a pinch of sea salt and chuck er down!
Don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all human understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
