Yes, cranberries are allowed - no, not the dried ones. Many times dried fruits and other dried items can become moldy during the drying or storage process. So, Phase 1 does not allow them. (sorry!) |

Yes, I love them too! So, all dried fruits are out. I get the frozen ones and add to stevia sweetened yogurt or heavy cream. I can't wait to have RAW heavy cream!! Lannie has really rubbed my nose in THAT!!

Yes, I would love to be able to get raw cream, milk and butter. I have started searching but the closest raw dairy I have found is about an hour and a half away. I'm still searching via some Yahoo groups. Sure would love to have raw dairy for my family. I wish I had the time to get a cow like Lannie. But I have to work too much and don't have the time to care for livestock right now (we just got rid of our last 2 horses). Maybe when I retire .........

Suz, right now we drive an hour and fifteen minutes each way to get raw milk. We'll be doing that until Bandit calves (hopefully next September if this breeding took). It would be a lot easier for us to buy milk at the store when we're there, but the raw milk is so much better that we make a separate trip to get it. The milk we get now lasts two weeks easily in the fridge, so we get enough to last two weeks and that way only have to make the trip twice a month. ~Lannie |
