This program is very interesting and my hubby and I have incorporated it into our anti-fungal program. If dehyrdated, the cells are not strong enough to fend off invaders. Worth a look. Edited by AloeGal, Mar 13 2013, 04:49 PM.

I have a question. I did the calculation for how much water for me and I came up with 12.20 oz. That doesn't sound right to me. I weight 122 lbs. I drink a lot more then that I think. I nurse mine..sooo I am going to have to change that huh...hehe. In a way I rather chug it down then just sip it.

Ok, for someone who weighs 122 (I hate you! not really!) you divide that by 1/2 - giving you 61. You are supposed to drink 61 oz. per day. The dividing by 5 gives you how much you drink before each meal (5 meals per day). 61/5 = 12.20.A 12 oz. glass of water before each meal with a pinch of sea salt added. Not bad. The reason you drink it all is so that you will be hydrated to be able to digest the meal. You will need less beverage during the meal allowing you to eat until you are truly satisfied and not sloshy. ![]() Then they have all the nutritional information to keep your nutrition up. Iodine, chlorophyl, potassium (Lugol's has both iodine and potassium), eggs, beans, yogurt, fresh fruits & veggies, carrots, nuts & orange juice (for potassium - has too much sugar for our diet but I drink a bit once in a while for energy). Also vitamins and minerals and fish or flax oil. |

I 'll blame it on being hypo...hehe Now can I put the iodine in at least one or two glasses of water. OK brain fart..duh the salt has iodine in it....I should have had a v-8

If your salt has iodine in the amount you need, it is probably not the right kind of salt. |

OK I m back.. I just checked..hehe. This is what is in my all natural sea salt by Redmond trading company: sodium choride 98.32% calcium .40% potassium .12% sulpur .11% magnesium .10% iron .06% phosphorus .05% iodine .002% maganese .0015% copper .001% zinc .0006% I just want to clearify sp? in my previous post. I was thinking it wasn't a good idea to add the iodine but then I thought that sea salt has minerals in it so adding more isn't going to do anything. I was thinking that it would interfere with what he was trying to accomplish. I hope that makes sense. I never use table salt unless I have no sea salt with me. |

Most sea food has iodine in it, so it stands to reason that sea salt should have some. But that Morton's and other blue round boxes are bealched. Adding iodine is a moot point. The bleach and chloride will steal elecrtrons from the iodine rendering it useless. The Iodorol, which is prescription, is 50 mg. I take about that each day. Each drop of Lugol's is around 6.25 mg. 8 drops is around 50 mg. If you read the Optimox information on Iodine safety in the Iodine section, you will learn a lot. I don't think it is too technical. Let me know if you think it is.

OK I am confused I use sea salt not the regular table salt (unless I am somewhere that I have no choice). So if I put the sea salt in the water is it ok to add my drops of iodine to that. Will it get in the way of the water cure recipe.

Let's see if I'm understanding your confusion! You cannot overdose on real iodine. (Yes, you can get too much of the stuff they use for medical testing...) Sea Salt has a TINY amount of iodine in it. Water cure diet requires you to take more iodine anyway, although back then all he recommended was kelp. So, adding Lugol's to your water is still OK. You will be getting the water, salt, iodine and potassium which his diet requires. Hope that helps.
