Wednesday

B: Vanilla protein shake

L: Guacamole and kamut wraps

D: 2 fried eggs and fried mashed cauliflower and sweet potato on olive oil

Drinks: water and perrier


Saw my ND today and if in one or two weeks I am still reacting to fruit I am to do her version of candida diet for two weeks.

What are good foods to add weight on. I started eating sweet potatoes with butter and cinnamon, add rice with spicy salsa, and pasta. I haven't been having my protein shakes with 3 eggs, water, cinnamon, coconut oil, and xylitol. Yes I do have veggies and salads too. When I have my burgers I don't drain the fat. I have mixed nuts but not since yesterday cause I usually have them every day. I have my avocado, salsa, and olive paste with a toasted tortilla. I did start adding matza sp? with butter. That is pretty much what I have everyday with the occasional fruit but not that often. I did add horseraddish to my salsa and burger. I do have sardines every so often. Oatmeal I have maybe once a month but been carving it for some reason and not for carb sake. When I do have it I put ...yes coconut oil, cinnamon, and xylitol...ghee so familiar...lol..

So any other opinions to add for weight...oh HB's homemade ice cream?

??? If dairy is not a problem, heavy cream. Black Olives. That is all I can think of other than what you are already doing. I tend to think you need the Phase 2 or 3 level and working out for muscle mass.

Lunch - tuna salad with tortilla chips and a piece of melba toast.

Snack - tortilla with melted gouda cheese

Dinner - hamburger in tortilla. I know that makes how many tortillas today??? haha, I am starting my workouts now. :)

Yea.. I agree with you there. So off I go to have fun with the foods I miss..haha..mozz, ice cream..yum...wow never thought I would have to add these foods for a while... :yahoo: ... I also want to add that my rash is doing really well. I don't know if it is the tanning salon visits or adding sweet potatoes cause they are skin foods right..and have been taking at least 2-3 probiotics a day. Still drinking acv, molasses, lime, and tabassco sp? and of course water in the morning and before bed.

I make my own and won't touch corn for anything! I added more info on that yesterday in Fungal Issues...

I read my labels very well and if I can't buy a good one, try to make my own. :)

Hb doing housework is considered exercise. :) So organizing and putting together your office is good for you.

Officce is almost done. Guests Sat evening for dinner!

Breakfast: 2 eggs and a handfu of walnuts

Lunch: tuna salad wrap w/ spring mix and walnuts

Dinner steak and a tortilla. (That's 3 today.)

For some reason my throat swelled today and I got blisters in my throat. I think I may have gotten some bad walnuts. :( Better now. :biggrin:

Yeah, thanks naes! If it doen't get better rapidly without meds, I will go to a doc. But I have never had it last longer than 30 minutes. And my throat was more sore than swolen, but had that blister thing. This moring I had my eggs again (I'm about sick of eggs!!) and no problems, so I think it was the walnuts. I'm throwing that bag away and buying a fresh one. ;)

As a note DH and #2 son are both sick with sinus thing. I felt kinda yuck yesterday, but feel pretty good today. Maybe that had something to do with my reaction.

Update: yup - I have a sore throat... so, I guess I'm getting what they have. Although I'm not feeling bad, so I think mine will be much less of a problem. I've been taking Oil of Oregano, Pau d' Arco tea, lemon in water w/ iodine, all my regular vitamins and supplements and drinking water like fish! :)

Lunch - Baked Potato Soup (Phase 3)
Dinner - Boudin (bo-dan) Cajun sausage w/ rice (Phase 2 min but since it was store bought probably Phase 3.) Hubby wanted comfort foods today.

Breakfast - 1/2 my serving of Malt-o-Meal
Lunch - 5 tortilla chips (homemmade)
Dinner - Brown Rice & Red beans

I'm getting ready to make tortillas for my kids. I'm starved, so I'll probably eat one.
On a positive note...when I'm sick I lose weight! ;) :sick: :thumb:

It was Easter yesterday. I showed up at the table and ate.

I didn't do too badly this weekend. I think the worst I did was eat two pieces of roast potato.

Back to the good food today!

Sorry you feel sick... :( ..

Just keep drinking the cleansing drink...

8-12 oz of water, may be warm. Vary amount of water according to taste and whether you've met your goal of ounces for the day.
Juice of 1/2 lemon
grated peel too if organic
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or 1 tablespoon if 12 ounces or more
1 tsp grade B maple syrup or other natural sweetener to taste (I put molasses instead to get the minerals)
4-5 drops cayenne pepper tincture (assuming 10,000 heat units)

or

8 ounces filtered water
4 ounces unsweetened cranberry juice.
1 teaspoon liquid chlorophyll
3-5 drops of peppermint extract.
May use apple or cherry juice if not sugar-sensitive.

but the first one is better for being sick IMO. That one helped me cut down my days of the flu. When I got the flu before I didn't have the drink and it lasted 2 weeks..but the last time I had the drink it only lasted 4 days tops and helped a lot with the mucus and throat.

Well I totally went off my regimen Sat. Had a veggie lasagna, sausage one, ham, pineapple, chocolate, baklava, ginger snap cookies, and another kind of cookie and not just one. I ate too much had a stomach. Before that my dad made english muffin pizzas. Even been drinking coffee. But rash isn't that bad. Forgot to take my probiotics the past 2 days. But had a good time and enjoyed eating everything. Felt normal. Guess what though at the end of the dinner I decided to have grapefruit and my rash went haywire. I think I may be allergic to them because I have been drinking the acv and it hasn't had too much of a reaction. I am trying to eat more to gain. Oh forgot to mention that Sat. morning I had a cheese omelet, home fries, english muffin with butter, and 2 pieces of bacon. I think I get a reaction from dairy but not sure.

Today I am going to make some sauted onion and potatoes maybe peppers too, eggs (I don't get tired of eggs..love them but I am getting tired of burgers finally..haha), and some kind of veggie..oh yea and toast

Scary about the swollen throat with blisters HB!

Well, I didn't do too bad with my eating while I was out of town. I took a cooler with things I had prepared, so I had options, but a few times I did eat things I shouldn't. There were many times my family ate out. Three times I ate with them. Fajitas once, buffet at Ryans once, but I had my salad dressing and ate salad and a lot of meat, then we went to this restaurant for breakfast and this was my biggest cheat. They brought out a basket of apple fritters, applesauce muffins and apple julep. I gave the drink away to DH, ate one apple fritter and half of one of the muffins, (which was tiny to begin with) But then I ate a pancake with maple syrup. My meal came with two and I gave one to DH. I also ate two scrambled eggs and 2 slices of bacon. Delish!!!

Okay, so today I had 2 chicken strips and a sweet potato for breakfast.
Salad with chicken for lunch.

Well, I'm kinda' used to the blisters. I used to get them from my cats when I was allergic to them. So, not a BIG deal with me. I just scrape them out. :shrug:

Breakfast - I could only handle about 1/4 of one egg.

Lunch - Vegetable Beef Soup. Few "cheat" veggies in there. I used left-over brown rice instead of pearled barley and Great Northern Beans instead of potatoes.

Dinner - ?? Left-overs - soup chicken salad (I made yesterday) or red beans and brown rice.
