Breakfast: metagenics vanilla protein shake

L: Two eggs fried in olive oil

D: Rice pasta with homemade tomato sauce

Drinks: water and green tea

Looks like I really need to do my candida diet for 2 weeks. I had a hot, flushed face after dinner - it was like whoosh! I also had upset bowels and some bloating which I haven't had since last year. Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhh! And I still have rashy looking bumps on my hands and face and then welts on my face. Go me go!

Have to go out and buy additional acidophilus and antifungals, plus more veggies and a variety of proteins.

I'm in a bad mood about food. Hey that rhymes.

Naes.

yesterday I had:

3 eggs sunnyside cooked in coconut oil, with thick white bread (yea don't yell) with a lot of butter, sauted onions with fried potatoes.

toasted tortilla with olive oil and sea salt dipping in avocado/salsa/olive pate mixed.

then later had 2 pork chops with sweet potatoe with a lot of butter, and salad.

then had my homemade ice cream (thanks HB ..to easy to make--I have another variation on it from my friends hubby that is a chef by trade but doesn't work as one anymore ...I will post it in deserts) with mixed nuts ground up as topping and ate this about 10 at night.

Today:
water with powdered magnesium.

hamburger with reg. bun with goat cheese and salsa on top, sweet potato with a lot of butter, diet soda without caff. at about 12noon

later with friends with had fresh mozz. with crackers (from store) then had a choc. donut, 2 pieces of choc. candy, diet soda with caff. at about 3pm

mixed nuts about 5pm

Salad at 830pm

probably have fish, pork, or another burger around 10pm then have my ice cream and nuts..

God Bless
Susan/Beachbum

I'd stay far away from the diet drinks of any kind. If you MUST drink a soda the originals are actually better than the diet ones. The chemicals are really bad brain killers...

Today
B- chicken salad on a tortilla
L - same thing again
D - chicken noodle soup
snack baked tortilla chips.
3 doses of ACV in water today! Still feel yucky! Lots of drainage. Switched to Olive Leaf. Still take all regular vitamins and supplements. Added Yellow Dock and Nettle today as I'm having anemic symptoms again.
Blessings,
AloeGal

Yesterday:

Breakfast: Taco Salad... homemade
Lunch: Same
Supper: Burger without the bun. & a few of the kids fries.

Only water to drink.

Oooohhhh... my head is killing me. That time of the month and I feel so yucky!

HB.. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Waffles every now and then won't hurt too bad. I hope. Good for the soul anyway. ;)

BB.. Sounds like your taste buds had a fun day. :D I so love doughnuts... my favorite are just the plain glazed ones.

Naes.. I used to have those flushing spells some last year. It was like a hot flash.. except that's not what it was. Sometimes while eating my face would get this electric feel about it... like a tingle that went deep. It was so weird. I was glad when that stopped. Hope you feel better!

So I'm officially on the candida diet.

Sunday

B: Metagenics vanilla shake and organic bacon.

L: Guacamole with Kamut flat bread (look like tortilla shells to me)

D: Organic chicken drumstick, rice, broccoli on half of my plate.

Had too many carbs today but I'm working on that.

Drinks: water, green tea and perrier.

I'm continuing to take my acidophilus and I'm on statin (antifungals) now. Hubby says my breath stinks so I may have to cut back on them like last year. But I did eat a lot of garlic today so that could have been the culprit.

naes, you're so funny. The die-off could cause bad breath too. ;)

I've lost 4 pounds! :D :D :yahoo: 5 more to go! :thumb:

Toady - breakfast not a whole flour tortilla

Lunch - home meade chicken salad w/ home made mayo, pecans and boiled egg. I ate with a few spincah leaves and 4 or 5 small whole grain crackers. (no yeast)

Dinner remains to be seen...I'll edit this when I decide! :D Probably Chicken Salad again.

I have been drinking my ACV every day. Some days more than others, I mean I drink it more than once per day.... When I was sick last week (I'm pretty much over it) I was taking 8-10 Oil of Oregano caps per day. I'm sure I've killed most everything! So, back to probiotics this evening and I may take 4 for a couple of days.

Sunday was pot-luck at church and I ate several things I shouldn't have.
Dinner - Cream of Chicken Soup (homemade).
Blessings,
AloeGal

If you think I'm funny you should see how generous my bms are after starting the candida diet...TMI! :clueless:

Today, Monday

B: Metagenics vanilla shake

L: Chile and beets

D: Scallops and veggie stir-fry

Snacks: almonds and I'll have something else tonight

Drinks: green tea, water and perrier

Just about freaked when my pee was kinda red and then remembered I ate a whole lotta beets. :snickerlol: That happened to me last year and I freaked because my bms were purple and then I remembered eating lots of beets. Haha.

My breath is officially stinky, according to the hubby. I'm going to have to call my ND about backing off a bit because I do have to go out in public and hang out with other moms. I can't scare everyone off - good Lord!

Naes.

Tues: Well hubby bought a new truck. Actually, his truck was getting to the point repairs were piliing up. He bought the new one, has same mo. payment, 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and better gas milage. :D He's happy - I'm happy. He wanted to splurge!

Breakfast - leftover chicken salad

Lunch - Italian restaurant - I won't elaborate but we did get the olive oil dip for the bread and I used that on my salad as well.

Dinner - I was lazy - I had home made ranch dip with veggie chips and not much of that.

Today I have more motivation to cook! ;)

April 2nd:

Breakfast: Salad (spinach,lettuce,carrots, chicken)

Lunch: Canned Salmon and rice and tomatoes soup.. weird combo I know.

Supper: Pork roast, pinto beans and couple bites of the family's macaroni. (They had cornbread with their pintos... but not me)

Olive Garden is my favorite resteraunt of all times. I haven't been there since I started this diet. Everything I would want are things I can't have... all that bread and cheese! Hopefully one day I can have it again. I will be going out to eat next week for DH's work. It's a fancy ordeal.. so I'm not going to carry my little cooler with me. I'll just have to eat what I can.
