Guidelines for Posting
This is a family-friendly forum. We employ a mature and sophisticated level of discourse that would be uninteresting to a child too young to handle it, and so if the youngster is interested, they are probably old enough! We trust our members with regard to this concern, both to message us and/or the author of the post if they object and to remove any of their posts to which others object. We discuss ideas and opinions, not the person's character who is holding the idea or opinion. If we have something of a personal nature to say, we do it by private message. Regarding images, we support liberal use of avatars, portraits, logos, emoticons, sacred images, and graphic design elements. However, we err on the side of caution when it comes to violent images. When posting links, we often delete the thumbnail so that a person who is interested will navigate to the primary source and score a "hit" for that source. This also supports us in remembering to write a teaser that gives the reader data upon which to base their choice to click or not to click. We're glad you're here!
