NAME: Luke Galford ALIASES: n/a --- PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Species: Metahuman Gender: Male Age: 26 Height: 6'4" Weight: 180 lbs. Ethnicity: Caucasian Appearance: ![]() --- POWERS AND SKILLS Powers: -Intuitive Aptitude (Latent) Luke’s power subconsciously manifests allowing him to understand the structure and operation of complex systems, ranging from machines to living things to a series of actions without special education or training. -Technopathy Luke does know that he can speak with electronics, allowing him to control and manipulate them. Luke quickly (quick due to his intuitive understanding of his power) has found out he can control a machine through another machine if both machines can connect in one way or another. Power Weaknesses or Limitations: Luke must see a system in action to understand it. He doesn't know about his intuitive aptitude though he does know he is a fast learner but his full potential is unknown. In order for Luke to control electronics, they have to have a flowing electrical current and he must come in physical contact with them and concentrate for a few seconds to speak with the spirit of the machine. Luke has no form of metahuman defense and must rely on his wit and powers. Power Source: Not even Luke knows the source of his power, he has hypothesized that his body can interpret and emit the electrical pulses in a machine and that his mind subconsciously converts it into a form of communication like no other. Fighting Skills / Disciplines: Due to Luke’s upbringing he has no real fighting skill or experience. Despite that Luke’s intuitive aptitude has allowed him to understand any form of fighting. But understanding and performing are separate things. --- PERSONALITY Personality: Luke always tries to do his best and wants a world where metahumans don't have to face discrimination for who they are. Psychological Weaknesses: Luke is very quick to doubt himself. Goals: Survive and do his best to remove metahuman hatred. Allegiances: Luke stays true to his friend Neil, but is very introverted beyond that. --- HISTORY Luke grew up like a normal child, his mother worked as a naval engineer spending years at a time away from home, his father worked as an entrepreneur from out of the house taking care of Luke. When he was very little, his technopathy manifested in an ability turn things off and on when he touched them. His power was so subtle that he spent his childhood thinking it was normal.Luke always tried to be the best he could be which one day led him to exposing his power to his family as he saved a man from being crushed by a steamroller. After learning of his powers his mother covers it up and tells him to never use his power ever again. But his dad his dad helps him realize he is special and that others won't like that, so he should try to keep his power a secret. With Luke's illusion of normalcy shattered, he becomes introverted and starts to resent himself and his powers, which sparks his latent intuitive aptitude. Luke used his subconscious power to explore his technopathy. By the end of that month he learned he could completely control a machine within its parameters and that if he has a device that connects to it he can control them remotely. A while after metahumans began to arise in the media and public eye and are met with fear and hate. Luke decides he wants to live a normal life, so he continues to keep his power a secret as he rises to the top of his class and graduates high school at the age of sixteen. Immediately thereafter he enters University. Luke doesn't make any friends till he meets a girl named Violet. Violet did hide the fact that she was a metahuman, she would warn people when meeting them that she can read others minds and often does so identically by making eye contact. They became quick friends, spending lots of time knowing they didn't have to hide who they were.Luke's intuitive aptitude allowed him to help Violet better control her power, so that she didn't accidentally read people's mind, when trying to simply make eye contact. But one fateful day while waiting for Luke to show up for a class, Violet is gunned down along with a few other students in an anti-metahuman attack on the school. The next day there was a metahuman activist group on campus and Luke met Neil. Luke now lives in L.A. with his friend Neil remotely managing servers around the world to pay for their small apartment. |

It's just a more specific type of "Super Intelligence" I took that and gave it rules and specifics instead of "Luke is super smart hurr durr" |
