Let's relive our childhoods!

I create this thread mainly with music in mind, but feel free to post anything that gives you a nostalgia rush. Could be anything from your early childhoods up until a few years back. I think most of us are just about the same age, no major differences, so apart from regional differences, I guess a lot of us will be able to relate most of the time. And if not it'll be a way to get to know each other a bit better perhaps.

My first contribution:

Who remembers this song?

I can't see your song Nommie. Is it just me?

I used to sing this song a lot when I was a toddler.

Hmm, it shows up for me. But just in case, the song is Wamdue Project - King of my castle.

Heh, I faintly remember that song you posted, but I remember No Scrubs and unpretty even better. That reminds me, actually. A little while ago, for some reason (can't remember exactly) my friend and I burst out singing No Scrubs in my uni room and someone must have picked that up because not 2 minutes later we could hear someone in a nearby room playing it loudly through their speakers. :p
It's an addicting song.

Also, who else was a massive Backstreet Boys fan back in the day? I can't be the only one.

Apparently they're still at it too, although it's just not the same without Kevin.

Yes! In my mind, the Backstreet Boys were the only boy band it was acceptable for a male to like. They were so so cool back then.

And here's this song. It was played so much when it first came out. It practically owned the airwaves. And it's pretty much the only song I can name off from her. Listening to it now reminds me of how much I actually like the song. I think I even learned how to play it on the violin when I was a prodigy.

On another note, I can't watch Titanic as when it came out on VHS in 1998, I was in so much trouble with my mum for something stupid I did. At the time she was yelling at me Titanic was on in the background and she made a point of turning it off and banning me from seeing it, so even now if I think about it, I think about how mad my mother was and it still makes me feel embarrassed. I only have a vague idea of how the film ends. xD

And it was recently the 16th anniversary of the creation of Pokemon. I remember being such an avid fan.

Also, who remembers these bad boys?

The backstreet boys will always have a place in my heart. I still have like 4 of their cd's... well I should, anyway, but during the move they seem to have gone missing... Hopefully they'll turn up :p

Hah, I remember those. Never got one myself, though, but plenty of my friends had them. Considering the hype, I was a bit underwhelmed at what they actually did, though, when I finally saw one up close lol

Also, they played this song last night at my favourite pub (which is actually a hard rock/metal pub :p

Also, this:

And who remembers playing this game? I loved playing it as a kid, in fact I think it was one of the first games I played ever at about 2 or 2,5 years old (with my dad). I still have it on my pc somewhere.

Yes, I'm loving this topic. ^^ I remember calling my mom at work in the middle of the night and begging to stay up because Backstreet Boys were on PPV, and I had to see them. >< Not to mention playing this for Mother's Day.

Also, had a Tamagotchi; it died the first night of starvation because I had to sleep for school. I woke up in the morning, and I had an angel kitty. ><

Anybody else remember this?

So was it like useless afterwards? Did you get only one shot at it or could you restart/revive it?

Yeah, useless. It had a reset button, but it was so tiny we couldn't hit it. Not even with a pin. Ridiculous. *shakes head*
