Lillian Draper was still bitterly waiting for the court approval to drop her married her name. For two months, she lived away from her home. It was a painful thought considering they had just bought the mansion for a plentiful sum of money. Now, they were on the move again. Her ex-husband had packed and scurried to an apartment in New York City, while she was left to sell the remnants of their former sanctuary.

What surprised her most of all however, was that her youngest sister had welcomed her in with open arms.

Precious was the youngest of the Hindert triplets and obviously the favored. Lilly remembered harboring such a resentment for her sister because their mother would refuse to see Luciana and Lillian as equals. Precious, a runt, flourished under their mother's steel gaze, and for that Lily never forgave Annik Hindert. Precious was an extension of her. Not Lillian Beatrice nor Luciana Margot.

Perhaps it was the circumstances that the women currently faced. Precious's marriage was the first to collapse. Quickly, Lily's followed, and Lucy was considering her separation with Booker. These commitments fell like dominoes within the span of a few months. And between the lines, they realized they needed to band together. Family above all. Semper in Sanguinem, blood first, the Hindert motto.

Although Lily would never forget the atrocities her sister commited, she still had to remind herself that she was her sibling. Nothing gets forgiven, people don't forget. But it was always the pacifist in Lily. As soon as she saw the dark bruises under Precious's eyes, Lily couldn't help but feel guilty. Her sister demonstrated a shred of sympathy. Blood comes first.

She sat inside Madame Rosemerta's, stirring her tea with a dented spoon. She wore a purple dress and her brown coat hung near the door. She had sent several invitations out. Whoever responded would be like a game of roulette.

FIRE PURE RISE

Nothing is going to happen. You will be safe. You'll have people you love around you. I promise, nothing is going to happen.

Like her mother, Dolores never forgot. She had to live with the fear every day. Everyone had been spared but her, and it haunted her every second. O'Connor would continue in a bliss, he would love Weasley and his elementium would be something to be proud of, but not for Dolores. She could bring herself to love William, but she could not take pride in manipulating the elements of fire. She would always know.

Her wrist, delicate little bones masked by pale skin, writhed as her fingers balled into a fist and then expanded in fluid motions. She could feel the heat of the flames. Burning with an unbridled anxiety that surged through her core. Normally, anger was associated with fire, but in Dolores's case it was anxiety. And she had allowed the disorder to consume her life.

"I am Dolores Draper," She whispered. "I am fire." Her eyes jumped to her reflection in the mirror. Her cheeks had a rosy tint - she was exhausting herself, concentrating too hard on funneling her worries into a mystical power. Dolly frowned. Then, the flames were gone. She sighed as she smoothed out her hair. Don't think about it.

Dolly exited the bathroom. Madame Rosemerta's pub always had the sickly scent of sweet honey that lingered, and it reminded Dolly of her cat. The bells jingled as patrons entered. She had to remind herself that these people lived in fear too. She approached Lily at a table near the back, eyes focused on her mother's bare ring finger before she settled beside her. "I'd like tea. I don't like coffee."

Sixteen years trips around the sun since Genesis Villalba had last set foot on the Hogwarts grounds. It was an achievement to boast. The rest of her classmates had returned to be professors, nurses, or opened up small shops in Hogsmeade. These simple-minded people could not relinquish their past; they thrived on the memories of the better days when their hairlines did not recede and their bellies were tight and firm.

Genesis remembered running rampant through the forests of Hogwarts. Her name was unique; Genesis, creation or conception, a means of the beginning for muggle religion. However, her parents were pureblooded fanatics who named her for the birth of purity. She was their only child, and she would continue the dynasty. It was her duty, destined to act as the Snake Empress for Hogwarts.

Precious Hindert however, had different plans. They were instantly drew together because of their obscure names. Preci and Gennie, brilliant minds destroyed by madness, starving, powerful, vulnerable, dragging themselves through the dungeons of Hogwarts as they searched for a temporary fix. They had a penchant for self-destruction. You and me, you and me. Genesis was the princess and Precious the queen.

She followed, hollow-eyed and hungry for adventure. There was never a question behind their motives. She just did as what was told. Shoot now, think later. And the result had left her with a void that she could never fill. An indestructible abyss where she would wallow silently, for all of eternity, because she never learned to take control.

It had slipped from her hands. Her husband had left her at the altar, three months pregnant with the sun in her belly. But she did not regret. She loved William with every ounce of her heart. She accepted every decision he made. She wanted him to do what she could not, a carbon copy of herself, where he could not make the same mistakes she did.

Genesis guided William Dreyfus into Madame Rosemerta's. Honey, tea and coffee wavered into her nose. She relaxed her posture. William tugged at her arm and guided her near the back of the pub. Step by step, one foot in front of the other.

"Hello, Lolita," He greeted his nymph with a swift kiss to her lips. "Lily." A peck on his mother-in-law's cheeks. Dolly stood to greet his mother. "Lily, I would like you to meet my mother, Genesis Dreyfus."

Genesis: origin, creation, or beginning.

Lily stared, skeptical, as if the woman before her was some kind of mystical creature. The name was familiar, a forgotten echo in her mind that had been casted aside from important matters: marriage, family. But this name erected a red flag. Warning, caution, stop, do not proceed. She knew one person by this name.

"Admit it!" Villalba sat on Hindert's back, weighing the blonde girl's body down with brute force. She rubbed Lillian's face into the dirt, lip-gloss smearing over the earth, aesthetic versus natural. "Admit that you slept with the teacher to get that grade!"

"I did not! I did not, I did not!" Lily roared, lids pressed tightly shut to keep the mud from seeping into her eyes. "I'm just smart! I'm smarter than you!" Wrong words to say. Genesis pushed Lily's face deeper into the soil. Precious Hindert watched nearby, circling the prey.

"Lillian Hindert." The bomb dropped. She watched the other woman's face shift into confusion, before recognition. Yes bitch, it's me. "Pleasure." She shook her hand. They settled at their seats: Lillian across from Genesis, William beside Dolores. William began to ramble on about his internship at Hogwarts, but Lily never allowed her gaze to move from the brunette in front of her.

IMPERATOR

I hope they cannot see that I am the great destroyer. Born a king, now I've come to burn your kingdom down.

Theodore wrapped his arms around Dolores's shoulders from behind. Angel-headed nymph, the only sister he would ever know, fragile but broken. He had missed her presence every day, burning for the ancient heavy connection in the triplet dynamo. "I can't believe you're here." He breathed. She turned in her seat to look up at him.

"I only came to see Willy." She laughed wryly.

"Obviously." Theodore snorted. He shook hands with William, kissed Lily on her cheek, standard procedure. "Theodore Wickham." He introduced himself to the strange woman. "I'm Dolly's cousin."

"Genesis Dreyfus." She replied, voice deep and guttural. She hesitated, eyes narrowed as she looked him over. "You're Precious's boy, right?"

A pause. "Yes."

Action, reaction. Genesis settled herself on the seat, but her eyes did not waver from his face. She saw her in every cheek jowl, eyelash and iris pigment. This was an extension of her in the flesh. She had another one too, didn't she? A girl. Twins were a rampant gene in her family - a curse paradoxically encased in a silver-lined blessing.

Little Dolly tugged at her sleeve. She was like a little girl, bows in her hair and a lollipop between cherry lips. Genesis had met her approximately six months into their relationship. Draper was a foreign name to her. This was the first instance of meeting her parent - her father, she supposed, would be introduced sometime later down the road. William had told Genesis of a divorce.

"Sorry," She was in a dream-like haze that she could not wake herself from. "It's incredibly mind-boggling how I'm here right now. There's a lot of undefined history to my name... Your mother probably hasn't told you about me." She glanced at Lily, ignoring William's questioning stare. "I was your mother's best friend. I knew her better than Carmichael could ever dream of."
