The following thread is meant to declare what is known as common knowledge within the world of the role play. The information listed here is information that would be accessible to the general public of the wizarding world, including the students of Hogwarts (ie: known history, the Daily Prophet, rumours, etc.).
Notable Figures
Addie Lumineux: well-known auror, recently employed full time as Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts. Known as one of the original elementium (light) during the Elementium War.
Albus Dumbledore: current Headmaster of Hogwarts.
Azariah Amaranth: previous leader of the Knights of Walpurgis, rumoured to be the embodiment of the elementium. Killed during the final battle of the Elementium War by the combined power of the elementium. He was like Voldemort in that people were so scared of him they didn't even speak his name.
Bellatrix Lestrange née Black: twin of Jordanna Bauer, high-ranking member of the Amaranthine Sisterhood. Known as one of the original elementium (fire) during the Elementium War. Wanted for crimes against humanity and failure to register as an elementus with the Improper Use of Magic Office. Previously affiliated with the Knights of Walpurgis.
Emma Gray-Winters: ex-Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts, current Herbology professor. Known as one of the original elementium (plant) during the Elementium War.
Hellius Surla: known as one of the original elementium (darkness) during the Elementium War. Wanted for failure to register as an elementus with the Improper Use of Magic Office.
Ian de Pointe du Lac: known as one of the original elementium (water) during the Elementium War. Previously wanted for failure to register as an elementus with the Improper Use of Magic Office, pardoned by Minister McKenna.
Jordanna Bauer née Black: current leader of the Amaranthine Sisterhood. Known as one of the original elementium (ice) during the Elementium War, responsible for the murder of Julian Kahn. Wanted for crimes against humanity and failure to register as an elementus with the Improper Use of Magic Office. Previously affiliated with the Knights of Walpurgis.
Precious Wickham née Hindert: high-ranking member of the Amaranthine Sisterhood. Previously served as Headmistress of Hogwarts during Albus Dumbledore’s absense. Captured and sentenced to life in Azkaban for the murder of Regulus Black. Implicated in crimes committed during the Triwizard Tournament in 2030-2031. Forcefully freed from Azkaban by the Amaranthine Sisterhood in 2032. Wanted for crimes against humanity.
Stephanie McKenna: Minister for Magic. Previously served as Potions Mistress at Hogwarts.
Tinsley de Pointe du Lac: former High Inquisitor of Hogwarts. More commonly known by her maiden name, Tinsley Carmichael. Affiliations still unknown. Tinsley's replacement is Aloisia Malfoy.
Dread Pirate Phineas: infamous criminal wanted for countless acts of piracy and murder. Has evaded the Ministry for sixteen straight years. Wherever the Dread Pirate appears, death and destruction follow. Responsible for the tidal wave that struck the Ivory Cost city of Abidjan in 2019, killing over ten thousand people.
Minor characters Andromeda Black: younger sister of Jordanna and Bellatrix Black. Currently enrolled at Hogwarts.
Dave McKelvey: current Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and Head of Slytherin at Hogwarts. Known as one of the original elementium (air) during the Elementium War.
Ginny Boot née Weasley: current Transfiguration professor and Head of Gryffindor at Hogwarts. Known as one of the original elementium (fire) during the Elementium War.
Ioanna MacGowan: most known for spending more time in the Hospital Wing than any other student. During the 2032-2033 school year, Ioanna fell into a coma for four months. She is also widely known to have been possessed by the entity known as "Death", whom, through Ioanna, terrorized the school that same year.
Narcissa Black: younger sister of Jordanna and Bellatrix Black. Currently enrolled at Hogwarts.
Rachel Bauer: daughter of Jordanna Bauer. Currently enrolled at Hogwarts.

- With Azariah’s death, the essence of the elementium was “released”. Children of those alive during the Elementium War are beginning to develop lesser elemental abilities.
- Several of the original elementium have been murdered or gone missing. It has been speculated that killing an elementium allows the absorption of their power, but this is unconfirmed.

Year One (2029-2030) September - Current gen students started at Hogwarts (first and third year).
October - Previous elementium were found dead in Diagon Alley (Mitchell Kalvor, Katriane Quicompoix, Margo Wright). Jordanna Bauer and Bellatrix Lestrange were spotted.
July - Regulus Black was reported missing.
Year Two (2030-2031) September - Albus Dumbledore fell "mysteriously ill". - Tinsley Carmichael was appointed High Inquisitor. - Precious Wickham assumed role as Headmistress. - Triwizard Tournament was announced with a twist: two tributes from each school instead of one. - Tributes: Theodore Wickham, Carmen Gray-Winters, Antoine Belrose, Lunette Montier, Alexander DeWitt, and Merida Gottlieb. - Donatella Vercetti was announced as gameskeeper/referee.
January - Theodore Wickham and Antoine Belrose freed dragons from the first task, who burned down the quidditch pitch. Karissa Dupont-Seydoux's body was found among the ash. - Security at Hogwarts increased with new aurors watching over the students.
March - Primrose Dévouement was found dead after the second task. Her body was rumoured to have been found without eyeballs.
June - Andrei Nabokov, Headmaster of Durmstrang, was murdered before the final task. Maze set on fire and a body hung above for everyone to see. - Shoshanna Mimieux was assumed to have died in the fire. - The fire was mysteriously put out by water, elementium suspected. - Vox Populi, identifying themselves with red scarves, helped to save people during the catastrophe. - Bell Thornton was killed within the forest. Was assumed to have been killed by wolves. - Antoine Belrose was blinded in the tournament and now has a service dog named Tango. - A large amount of students transferred to Hogwarts (Tibault Montier, Alexandra Dupont, Antoine Belrose, Sasha Dewitt, Artus Descoteaux, Lunette Montier).
July - Precious Wickham, Tinsley Carmichael, and Donatella Vercetti were put on trial for the events of the Triwizard Tournament. Wickham and Carmichael were declared innocent; Donatella confessed to being responsible and was sentenced to Azkaban.
Year Three (2031-2032) September - Annik Hindert and Constance Sinclair attacked Charlie McKinnon and Anita Salander on the Hogwarts Express en route to Hogwarts. - Tom Riddle was announced as Head Boy.
October - Liam O'Connor, Dolores Draper, and Elisamarie Cummingham were kidnapped by the Amaranthine Sisterhood.
December - Amelia Weasley and Charlie McKinnon were attacked on Christmas night. Amelia was put in the hospital wing, rumoured to have lost a finger. - Chamber of Secrets was rumoured to have been opened. Several people were petrified (Sirius Black, Julian Khan, Jason Allen Jr., Beck Elliot, Memphis Loeffler, Gage Emmereth).
July - Precious Wickham was arrested for the murder of Regulus Black, who was previously reported missing (Dolores Draper testified against her). Tinsley Carmichael was also investigated, but no charges were laid.
Year Four (2032-2033) September - Albus Dumbledore returned as Headmaster of Hogwarts, Emma Gray-Winters appointed Deputy Headmistress. - Rachel Stahl received an award from Minister McKenna for the arrest of Precious Hindert. - Rachael Stahl and June Sinclair were reported murdered in their home, no suspects named. - Tom Riddle, ex Head Boy, joined Hogwarts staff as assistant professor.
October - Theodore Wickham disappeared sometime in the beginning of October. - Amaranthine Sisterhood attacked Azkaban on Halloween night; Precious Hindert and other inmates were freed. - Dread Pirate Phineas spotted in Hogsmeade, inciting panic. Ministry warned people not to approach, as he is extremely dangerous.
November - Jordanna Bauer and Bellatrix Lestrange lead the Amaranthine Sisterhood in attacking Hogwarts in early November, marking the Second Battle of Hogwarts. Jordanna Bauer's announcement claimed that they were only there to kill aurors and that professors and students would be safe. Rumours state that Dread Pirate Phineas helped ward off Jordanna and Bellatrix in the school's Entrance Hall, but the Ministry's official reports state no such thing.
February - On the night of the 14th, Hogwarts found itself transformed into a Hellscape where the terrors of the castle's inhabitants became real. - As many of the school's pureblood student body had been absent that night due to attending the wedding of Precious Hindert to Jax Lestrange, the incident has been widely suspected to have been a plot by pureblood supremacists. - Since the first night of the Hellscape, six students have gone missing with no trace of them to be found.
April - The Hellscape made a surprise appearance during classes on the 16th, after which the phenomenon ceased as was not seen again. The six students reported missing since the first appearance of the Hellscape miraculously returned.
June - Ioanna MacGowan was discovered and announced to have been the proxy of an evil entity, and the source of the dark mist. - Assistant Professor Tom Riddle defeated the evil entity known as Death on the penultimate night of Year 4, and was then mysteriously sacked from his post by Albus Dumbledore.
August - The Quidditch World Cup took place during the summer. - Fortionde Institute for Witches and Wizards was destroyed by the Amaranthine Sisterhood during the Quidditch World Cup. - On the 29th, several other wizarding schools including Salem, Koldovstoretz, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons were destroyed by the Amaranthine Sisterhood. It resulted in two casualties. - Dumbledore announces that he will be opening Hogwarts' doors to foreign students until accommodations can be made for them.
Year Five (2033-2034) September - Minister McKenna announces Ministry's recognition of Hogwarts' sovereignty. - On the 2nd, the foreign students arrive at Hogwarts during the Dinner feast.
June - Hundreds of students and staff, both from Hogwarts and from foreign countries, witnessed Jordanna Bauer murder Albus Dumbledore with the killing curse. - After which, several girls from the international schools reveal themselves to have been members of the Amaranthine Sisterhood all along. - The only other fatality was that of a student, Ioanna McGowan, who died sometime during the resulting chaos. - Students who did not evacuate immediately upon the Headmaster's death witnessed the appearance of two spectral figures taking the form of pale-skinned young women. - One of the spirits proclaimed to the student body that one among them would betray them, and the resulting war would reshape the their world. - The details of what happened next are unclear. Students and staff that remained experienced something which greatly disturbed them - Most cannot recall any exact details, only a feeling of utter aloneness. - When Aberforth Dumbledore and Rubeus Hagrid entered the Great Hall, it was freezing cold in the middle of June. - They found the students huddled together, traumatized by something that had occurred.
Year Six (2034-2035) Summer - Magical creature attacks on witches, wizards and muggles alike increase. - Combined Sisterhood activity and magical creature attacks results in multiple violations of the International Statute of Secrecy. - Magical governments (and their muggle counterparts) begin quarreling among themselves as their international agreement is broken again and again. - Taking advantage of the chaos, the Goblins begin protesting for more rights. - They claim the Statute of Secrecy forces them to submit to restrictions to which they never agreed. - Due to the activity of the Goblins, the value of the wizarding world's currency is brought into question, causing economic chaos to rein. - Facing challenges on all sides, the Ministry of Magic finds itself stretched thin, and the world becomes a much more dangerous place overall. - Work begins on extending the protections around Hogwarts Castle to the town of Hogsmeade. - Given that it is the only all-wizarding community in all of the United Kingdom, many wizarding families and individuals flock there, and the town quickly expands. - The Faerie Folk return to the Hogwarts grounds and claim the space as their own, taking advantage of the lull of activity and increased magical disturbances. - Aberforth Dumbledore, lacking faith in the broader wizarding government, takes it upon himself to establish a Hogsmeade Council for the purpose of protecting the burgeoning Hogsmeade Community. - As she had for Hogwarts last year, Minister McKenna recognizes and grants Hogsmeade a large degree of sovereignty. -The Hogsmeade Community and Hogwarts function in relative peace despite the turmoil outside.
September - Gabrielle La Reine, former Assistant Headmistress of Beauxbatons, takes the initiative to restore Hogwarts, which opens just in time for the school year to start, with her as Headmistress. - Recently graduated students also take residence at Hogsmeade, with some plying their skills for the betterment of the community in some way. - Many international students return to Hogwarts, or begin living in Hogsmeade.
Throughout the School Year - It is decided that students may live outside the school, in Hogsmeade, so long as they are at least seventeen or are living with an adult guardian. - Students are advised to avoid contact with the Faerie Folk and the Merpeople, and to never accept gifts, food or drink from either. - The Centaurs run into conflict with the Fae over territory. - Students report odd occurrences throughout the year. - Small, often subtle things such as things going missing or spells going awry. - Occasional bouts of madness within the school have been reported, but these are brief and rare. - Some students report getting lost in the Dungeons, despite generally knowing their way around, as if the corridors had shifted somehow temporarily. - Some believe that, among other things, another Goblin Rebellion, another Wizarding War, or even discovery of wizards by the muggle world is imminent.
