Many things happened in the past two weeks, so here they all are in case you missed any of it MESSI MESSI (Most Extraordinary Society for Social Interaction) has returned! This group is focused on the community on HNZ and community activities! Look for the application to be a part of this awesome group coming to you soon! Gradebook Changes! The gradebook has been updated again. Now, professors will be assigning grades for lessons. House points will automatically be updated when they enter a grade. It also calculates the amount of house points that each student earns . This should help students and professors keep up with how each students is doing in class. New Face Claim System A new form has been created for our face "claim" system! To change the official list (which can be viewed here) all you have to do is fill out this request, and it will be processed for you! Start of a New Year Year 15 is starting up today! Students, make sure you sign up for classes using the gradebook system. Do your lessons and earn house points ! Professors, remember to post your lessons and look for the start of term meeting coming up. With that being said, the holiday forums will be closing to students soon! Finish up your roleplays quickly! First years will have a little bit of extra time to finish buying all of their school supplies. Sorting Numbers Sorting has been going on since the last BWU was posted. Here is the break down of the first years at this moment. Slytherin: 15 Gryffindor: 16 Ravenclaw: 13 Hufflepuff: 15 Total = 59 New Head People and Prefects It's that time again! We have a new head boy and head girl as well as a new group of prefects. Congratulations everyone! Jeremy Thorne Briar Rowan Georgiana Night Karah Love Isaia Romanes Sara Moon Cosette Mayfair Mylie Thoreau Romaine Snow Jake Simpson New Professors New professors have been hired! Congratulations you guys! Professor Elodie Kesslar Professor Azerail Zhefarovich Professor Dannii Merrythought Educational Reform Attention students! A grade of A is no longer the minimal pass grade. P is now considered a passing grade. This gives professors more flexibility when grading student work. All students need to make sure that they take note of this change since it will effect your future career options. Quidditch House quidditch tryouts have been posted in the Quidditch pitch. If you are a student and you have an interest in playing quidditch this next year, post your tryout soon! The tryouts will be over before you know it! Don't miss your opportunity to be a member of your house team! Accio! Yearbook The wonderful staff of Accio! has posted the different threads for students and professors. Get your pictures in as soon as possible if you want to be in next year's yearbook! We only have one this time around. Remember, it's only one click away to have your own plot featured! Bake-off One afternoon two young professors head out of the castle for an afternoon baking competition. With the aid/hindrance of an earth imp they manage to create two batches of muffins. They spend a while talking until one of them has to return to the castle. Just before they separate something happens that may break or make their friendship. To clarify this point: A lot of you seem to be sending the form in for celebrities that you've already listed you're using. The form is only if something on the list needs changing. It used to be that you'd PM Amanda, but with her away from us for a while this lets staff take over maintaining the list. If nothing needs adding or editing to Amanda's topic: don't send in the form.
