Thanks! Menace was one of the adjectives I was hoping would come through for this one. Depending on Mother's Day duties (since I have two kids under 4), might get him finished this weekend, which would be good as I have a few other projects vowing for attention, that and there seems to be an arms race building now with my friends Night Goblin force! (ForgeWorld just released this!)
Cheers! Just in time to crack 'eds! Edited by Brother Syth, May 11 2013, 01:48 AM.

Warboss complete!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Quite happy with him. Probably more Dwarfs next, as I'm doing another challenge for the Brewery (warmachines, and entering an old gob lobber). Hopfully I'll still have time for the RUSH 2 comp! Let me know what you think! |

That is pretty cool - looks like he's issuing a challenge to an opponent. Maybe you could do a dwarf lord as his nemesis

Well I already have a Dwarf Lord on shield bearers looking very grim and ready to correct a few grudges. Though I am starting to think the Orc Warboss needs some others to kick around. Any suggestions for names btw? Been trying to think of something... |

Maybe he could be challenging a young upstart who's trying to take his place as chief in the Orc tribe? |

Hmm that's an idea. I do have a few ideas for another orc Boss or Big Boss... |

Got an update. Doing another monthly challenge for Bugmans Brewery with an old Goblobber. Just finished it, so now just need to do the crew. ![]() ![]() Also finished another model for the hoarde, a shaman. ![]() Let me know what you think. |

I must say, I love the character of the older models - the Gobbo's head nailed to the front of the Lobber is one of my favourite details

The humour of the old models is to my mind beyond compare to the present range. Hence why I like collecting and painting them. Also why they models I'm planning on doing for RUSH 2 are going to be old school. Tons of character and dash of humour in as well. |

I have to completely agree with you there, Syth. Despite the lovely casts they have today, you can't beat the old school models in terms of fun ![]() Both the Lobber and the Shaman (I love that model) look great! What's next? |
