I must say, I'm really liking your Dwarves, especially the last unit. I think the dark brown hair could be highlighted up a bit more, to bring it in line with the blond, ginger and light brown hair, which look quite realistic :)

Looking forward to the next update!

Cheers :D

I agree, that the beard highlights didn't come out well, might go over them again when I get a chance. Probably the next items on the painting table, is updating the rest of the army to this scheme. Although I have a need to paint some troll slayers!

Well, got more Dwarfs here. The latest narrative game was a crushing loss for me, so now we are moving to the underground scenarios from the Blood in the Badlands book. Hopefully I can win one there!

Anyways, losses aside, finished this lot for my next game.

The white looks a bit flat on the chap in the last picture on the left, but that could be the lighting. Otherwise, they look might fine :)

Thanks! The lighting for that Dwarf was a little unkind, the white isn't that flat IRL.

Got another update here, the next 10 Quarrellers. Hopefully got a game lined up for the weekend, hoping the narrative game be a victory for me for once!

As always and c&c is most welcome.

Finished off the last of the quarrellers. Now got a fully painted army for Saturdays game. Also painted up my Chaos Lord, for a Path to Glory game my friend is building up. Still got some time to paint up my meager warband. As always and c&c is most welcome.

Wow! That Chaos Lord is one beautiful model! Great job! The OSL on the shield is a nice touch, I love the snow on the base, the blood stains on the said snow are well done and the purple mutated arm looks damn good (from what I can see) :)

I do however have a bit of criticism: I think the hands should have been painted a more grey-ish colour, to make them look like proper dead hands. Also, the red Chaos star symbol on the horse's rear part could do with a bit more of a highlight, I think. The horse's skin would look a bit better too.

All in all thought, one great model with a great paint job, great stuff :D

Thanks! Your right about the hands. Strange that when I was doing them, I didn't think of that. Just saw hands and then right, flesh, move on. Will go over them again, and give that Chaos star another highlight or two. Thanks for looking and the comments!

Anytime :) And by the way, I just re-read my post and realised that I didn't finish one of my sentences... D'oh! What I wanted to say was that the horse's skin could do with a bit more of a highlight too, as it looks a bit flat (but maybe that's the lighting).

I'm looking forward to seeing your next update! Oh, and the Dwarves look good as usual, I especially love the red beards ;)
