Cheryl - Thank you for taking the time to make the graphic tribute for E3, it is so beautiful. I just can't do any nest updates now especially since E3 is still in the nest I was so yesterday that I had to keep busy. We played 9 holes of golf, came home and prepared some noshies for Super Bowl and after everyone left, I passed out . Sister-in-law Bev from NY is here, we picked her up in Tampa on Saturday and she will be with us for 2 weeks, she's lots of fun. Today the exterminators come for their bug spraying, I have to keep Maya out of the way even though they say after it dries (about 15 minutes) it is safe and non toxic. Then, tidying up from yesterday's party, laundry, grocery shopping, and when Alan gets home from golf, he does the vacuuming.

Carole tt is very to see the Fort Myers nest with E3 still on it ![]() I wonder if the AEF will decide to remove E4 He is in danger from contracting the same fungus if it is Aspergillosis that killed his sister

Penny - The Fort Myers nest is not part of AEF, it is an independent nest on the property of Dick Pritchett who was kind enough to sponsor the cameras. I too am concerned about this fungus, but we will never know; there will be no intervention as it may scare away the adults and they wouldn't return. |

Hello there, Carole. I thought that you were trying to keep busy yesterday with the sad news about E3. I wanted to clarify that the picture of E3 was done by a person who is a friend on Facebook. His/her name is "Wings". I did put the name beside the picture but I think you just missed it which is fine. I just posted her picture here. She does a lot of graphics, mostly for the NBG eagles but sometimes for others, even for the IWS birds. Bev must be happy to be arriving in Florida. Enjoy your visit with her! Penny, I hope the tiny African Scops owl can figure out how to return to its habitat. It certainly blended in well with the sand. The photographer got some excellent photos.

Cheryl - "Wings" did a beautiful job on the graphic but I love the way you personalized it. Doreen was here for Super Bowl yesterday with Charley and Max who behaved so well, they are a pleasure to have in the house. |

So many people were watching the "Puppy Bowl" yesterday. We don't get that channel. Carole, you must have had your own doggie party going on. Doreen must be a puppy whisperer. I need her to show me how to get our dogs to calm down. They keep asking to go outside today because it looks nice - the sun is out - but it is too cold. |
