It's -28C/-18F here this morning with -44C windchill factor :8O:

We are watching the Ladies skating and team sports competitions LIVE!!! Ice Dancing is next :**: :**:

I just cried when the Dufour-Lapointe sisters won Gold and Silver in the snowboarding slope style,

What a beautiful family and those 3 sisters supporting each other all the way :)^

All Canadians are very proud of all their Olympians and especially those who have made it to the podium

G'day Peeps, my Monday. I couldnt sleep so have been up since 5.30 (early for me). Windy and Overcast. Then the Koel birds started calling (they are really loud), then a huge flock of sulphur crested cockatoos (about 50 of em) flew south screeching. Then they flew north screeching. Then the unfriendly neighbors across the street had workmen turn up at 7am, laughing, shouting in the street next to their cars. And BBob slept through it all! rofl We did stay up till 12.30 watching the Olympics after a busy luncheon here with friends. Which is why I wasnt able to check in yesterday, so busy with cooking and entertaining.

Wendy brought me a plant yesterday (she said instead of flowers that die). Wendy is the lady who gave me a bunch of her orchids when she downsized. Tiger has approved.

Lily the Black Bear - UPDATE February 9, 2014

It's a Boy

Cub peeks over Juliet.....................Made it to the top

We suspected it a few days ago, but today we are sure. Juliet has at least one male cub! Even though the air temperatures hover around zero Fahrenheit, we are getting some good views of the cubs.

…and slides down!...........................It's a boy!

Bear.org and bearstudy.org have successfully been moved to a new server for improved performance. Both websites are back online, but it may be a while before the changes completely propagate across the Internet. Until it is fully propagated some may be able to view the site and some may not.

Thank you for all you do.
