We finally have some warmth...it's -9C/16F here this morning :**:

Looks like we'll have a few more days of it before we go back to the deep freeze again :)^

Penny - Take advantage of the warmer temps. :*: Siobhan will certainly be happier. :D The weather here is so strange, very cool in the 40's F. in the morning but heating up in the afternoon. To be honest, I wish it would never go above 72F. that's when it is the most comfortable here, especially for golf.

Posted Image Hello, everyone! :}^

:><: Jill, your red, white and blue Snoopy quilt is so cheerful and bright. A very lucky child will treasure it to cuddle in. You did such a nice job on the design as well as the wide blue border and then the narrower Snoopy border. Of course I like the anchor fabric, too. About how long do you think it took for you to make it? Was it easy to do? Well done on passing out the IWS card to John the photographer.

Vicki and Carole, your meals sound very tasty! We had home-made stew last night. Robert made it in the crock pot. :Yum:

Penny, it is interesting how nature knows what is coming. In the bear newsletter it said how Juliet's fur was thicker than usual this fall.

We have more of this :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: coming down. Robert is outside with the snowblower. Sigh.

Thanks Cheryl. I can't say the anchor material I used was to my liking, but they taught me I should break up the pattern, if you know what I mean. I did like using the Snoopy material for the binding as it showed up so well against the blue! I can't really tell you how long it took me to make as I just work on it a little at a time. I cut out all the squares at once, then eventually sew them together. Then cut out the border, sew it around the top & turn it in for the machine quilting. Then I get it back & have to sew the binding on. I had started on it last year. They need to be done by about June. I will start work on another one this Friday at the meeting. Not sure I will finish it this year. I usually only do one per year. It is fairly easy to do if you can sew! :D
