Look who came back after 11 years :**:

A cat that disappeared more than a decade ago surprised its owner who found the long lost pet sitting outside her house last week. Molly vanished from her remote home in Gulberwick in the Shetland isles, which has a population of around 800, in 2003. Despite it being 11 years since she went missing - owner Lynne Peart, 39, instantly recognised the 16-year-old cat because of her distinctive markings.

The Cat Came Back

G'day Peeps! My Saturday! :cart: Its raining here! Lots of it. Warm though. Our resident spiders were not happy with the rain, it ruined their webs!
Good to hear that CA is getting some much needed Rain. Snow too I hope! Not something you Canadians need though!

Carole, the Restaurant is a little on the expensive side, but the menu is nicely varied.

Penny, love the home coming story about Molly. <3 WoW

Odd about the WC heading north already. What do they know we dont?

Cheryl, the wall of snow is frightening. Oz has the same but in sand/dust. :8O:

Off to look at bathroom stuff for the renovations and there is an afternoon House Warming for Pete & Sally, then dinner at Monique & Neil's house. Better get moving :88:

Do you know there are TWO of these icons to the right? :88:

Want to see why the Germans have a positive trade balance, in spite of paying
workers some of the highest wages in the world?

Watch this: It is truly incredible..

A relevant little note........
This city of Dresden was obliterated by a 3 Air Raids, each
by over 1300 Bombers, of the RAF & US Army Air Corps, on the 13th and 14th of January 1945.

The AirCam is the greatest airplane ever because it will allow flying you simply cannot do in any other airplane. It's a twin-engine ultralight designed for use by National Geographic to explore Africa . It can fly 10 feet above the tree tops in safety as it can, with no engine management challenge, climb up and away on one engine.

Such near-Earth exploration is not done in twin-engine GA planes, ultralights or any other aircraft, with the same level of assurance. AirCams can take off on one engine, easily, and with both Rotax 912's turning, leap off terra firma in less than 100 feet and climb 2,000 fpm at Vne, all while burning only 10 gph. Try all that in any other aircraft!

Sightseeing at less the 4 gph.

Lily the Black Bear - UPDATE February 28, 2014

First Week is Over

Frigid temperatures (low of -26°F) caused a layer of frost to form on Juliet's fur. She attempted to shake it off but the frost held firm. The bears have been staying rather still these last few days, with Juliet hovering over her cubs to keep them warm.

Late night peek (note eye shine)...........................Collecting a wandering cub

Latrine break - notice Juliet's frosty coat...............Cub rises for air

The DNR wrapped up their case today, WRI will begin presenting their case on Monday. The weekend will be a much needed break for the researchers.

Thank you for all you do.
