What Is the Nest Adoption Challenge?
Topic Started: Mar 24 2015, 04:14 PM (759 Views)
Each year during the bald eagle chick-rearing season, we open up our individual nest adoption (usually a $1000 individual donation) to all our donors as a group. We record each donation of any size made during April and May and throw your name in the hat. For each $1000 donated, we draw names to receive the various benefits of a nest adoption, which includes an invitation to spend the day with Dr. Sharpe on Catalina Island and a Sponsor membership with IWS. Additional benefits that are distributed, which are not included with the individual nest adoption, include the selection of a variety of donated gift items. For each $2500 donated, someone will be selected to name one of the chicks. Finally, everyone who donates will receive a photo from the nest of their choice taken at the time of banding. Check our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/IWSEagles) for updates.
