G'day Peeps, heading into my Friday evening. I had a very busy work day today, and Bob behaved by staying in bed most of the day. Yesterday he over did in the afternoon/evening and paid for it this morning. Soon as the pain meds wear off, he feels it. Hopefully this is all temporary and his pain will diminish with healing. Again, thank you all for your good wishes. Loved the lazy dog~ And the very cute dog commercial! I just love golden retrievers. Crazy about the Ft. Myers nest! I hope its rebuilt for next season.I've been wanting a burger now since Carol mentioned hers! Not sure what tomorrow will bring... its suppose to rain too. Sydney sunset

Hello, everybody! Thanks for starting the thread, Kath! The colours in the Sydney sunset photo are gorgeous. I just wish we had some sunshine. It has been dreary all week. We haven't had a nice spring at all. It sounds like Bob is doing as well as expected after surgery. I hope this finds him feeling better every day. I have a hairdresser's appointment today .... five double-lane roundabouts to go through to get there, then repeat to go home. Oh, well. I'll try to check in later. Have a good day, everyone. |

Catching up oh my ozzie 40-50 minutes away! Glad he is home now! Hope he is continuing to do well! (and hope you are holding up rest now) so will Bob have PT or can he just do as he heals, using good judgment! Oh luv the lady bug graphic on Wed sooo cute! And so true Cheryl Im probably due for glasses but hate picking out frames too many and never what I think I want. I luv what I have but know that I should really pick new hope you made your decision! Carol wow sounds like you are super busy too! A couple months of ago, driving on our parkway, an eagle flew overhead at the state park we tried to get back a couple of times but saw nothing more were thinking maybe they are nesting there but on the north side which isnt so easy to get to phooey! Maybe thats something we should do this weekend but the leaves popped out a couple of days ago double phooey! Lol Carole Im always in such awe of the eagles from egg to flying! Thank you for your photos of the nests (and dedication) makes my heart pitter patter! Jill one more bite sammi would never have those pieces lying about she scarfs em all up. Last night I gave her a small denta stick and had a 2nd (which Im pretty sure I laid on the side table) I did some things while she ate #1 and when I went to get #2 hmmmm it was gone me thinks sammi helped herself ![]() Cheryl Im so laughing at the carrot story . Our weather hasnt really been anything to talk about either Cheryl it poured on Tues around 4pm 6pm and we were heading to the Mets ballgame . But it did clear so no rain but was a little chilly brrrrrr had some hot choc at the game AND they won so lots of up and cheering to keep us warm. Today overcast |

Deb - It's so good having you back in the nest Enjoy your trip with Meghan. By the way there is a place at Dollywood for non-releasable eagles, I think it is in Pigeon Forge. Congrats to Jonah on getting an award, what a great kid. Also, congrats on the birth of your great niece Peyton Rose, what a cutie and finally a girl after 3 boys.

I know BUT you have to pay full price to get into the amusement park to be able to go to the raptor center - you can't just visit the raptor center - I checked!

G'day Peeps, my Saturday started off with light rain but now I see blue sky. As usual, you are so busy Deb! Congrats on little Peyton. I wondered about the name origins because Bob's son (who is now in Denver) changed his FB name for a while to Payton Pete. Also Congrats to Jonah !!! Thank you for the Eagleland updates Carole! Do you not like roundabouts Cheryl? I dont like them when OTHER people dont know how to drive through them! You will all be very glad to hear about the Mediterranean cruise change of itinerary, no more Turkey. The start is now in Athens, Greece. We depart 8th of August. We now have to change all the flights, probably at our cost. We have travel insurance, but I dont think its covered under the insurance 'exemptions'. Another lovely sunset, this time Hillsborough, Queensland
