I could sure use one of those maragitas right now...it's a blazing 92 degrees here today with a slight breeze.....aahh feels like summer :D

The landscapers finished up here this morning after 8 days, but no plants are going in for a week or so. We have to wait until after the May long weekend because there is still a risk of frost until then Posted Image

Cheryl most of the people fleeing the Ft. McMurray fire had to leave with virtually nothing and I saw a video from a car that was absolutely the scariest thing. Looked like they were driving straight into Dante's inferno and most people don't know if they will have anything left after the fire is put out. How horrifying also for all the birds and animals who could not get away :8O:

I got a huge chuckle when I saw the photos of Matthews Toronto Marathon medal rofl Kudos to him :><: :><: :><: Have you posted a photo wearing your new glasses? They sound very nice :chk:

We had a whole slew of purple finches at our feeder along with red pols over the last several weeks. They guard the feeders and don't let the other biords get a turn so I am glad they have moved on. Now the chickadees and the nuthatches and the tiny blue tits are back as well as the Blue jays who disappeared for over a month or so and now seem to be here again. If there are no peanuts out they make their raucous calls to get your attention :D

Ozzie I hope you are feeling better and the source of the pain has been diagnosed. Good to hear that BBob is doing well after his surgery too. We had a little yorkie visitor here yesterday. His name is Ozzie :D He goes with his plumber daddy everywhere. Siobhan is always happy to see another yorkie but she was barking at him a bit when he ran down the hall straight to her food dishes

Carol I hope your refurbished computer is working well for you. We had a few computer issues here too, it is so frustrating when they don't behave :bam:

Well, I was supposed to get over to Mom's and bring her some things she needs and pick up some Mother's Day gifts too and it is already just before 3:00PM here. Where does the day go?

Miss being here more often. :Hugs: to everyone.

G'day Peeps my beautiful Friday but rain a'coming.

Nice to see you Penny. 92F is really hot for this time of year, right? I look forward to your yard photos after landscaping!

The news of the fire made headlines DownUnder too, we are used to these kinds of fast, devastating wild fires. Dante indeed.

I know what happened with the link, I left the final letter off so here it is again. :*:

I love E8 using the last bit of the nest... the light on the Alcoa nest is beautiful. Thanks for sharing (again) Carole.

What a beautiful bird Kris. Shame about the hunts. Its not like someone needs to hunt for the food anymore. That is so cool to have over 40 birds around, the noise must be wonderful!

I've lots of work to do, so much that I will probably work over the weekend but I dont mind. Do it while I have it!

Everyone have a nice Cinco! Arriba!
