Hi there, everybody. We had a nice day yesterday so I was outside gardening. Today I plan to do more of the same, plus get some windows washed.

Just checking in, hope all is well with everyone.

<::: CROW CLINIC REPORT ON E8 FROM FACEBOOK

A juvenile American bald eagle was found injured near the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam earlier today and brought to ‪#‎CROWClinic‬. After photo identification and other factors such as location and condition of the eagle, it is strongly believed to be E8. The eagle arrived thin, dehydrated and very weak. Radiographs showed a right leg femur fracture (broken leg) that will require surgery this weekend. E8 is currently in critical condition and will remain on strict cage rest. The prognosis is guarded and CROW veterinarians will have more information after surgery is complete.

Thoughts and prayers :candle: are with E8 for a good recovery. CROW is the best and helped him before, hope everything works out well now :X:

Thank you for the information, Carole. I found the Facebook page for CROW as you mentioned and sent the link to my sister.

We will hope for the best for this poor eaglet. I'll keep him in my thoughts. Prayers for him and for the team trying to help him.

We had pouring rain today and chilly /

Jillers - .Poor kitty /

Carole - Dreary Friday 13th / So sad about E8 , but so good he has been found :)^
Prayers for his recovery and he gets the right care

Cheryl - So nice to do gardening /I use to enjoy my little patch /

Kris - KLJinOZ - Penny - Deb - :Hugs:

Along my wall by my door in the back there was a row of stone and rocks that had come out
of the ground when I put in good dirt to plant my flowers / Those rocks have been there for
years / I walked out my door to get my mail and discovered she actually removed all those rocks
(there naturally) and had her workman plant grass seed there and cover it with straw / So
now even my rocks are gone / Can't wait till I get to heaven and have my little cottage
with flowers and birds /

G'day Peeps, my sunny Saturday. Out to the garden I go! I also have to hit the grocery store at some stage today.

Heard the news about E8 on FB. So glad they found him/her but not good prognosis with a broken leg. Poor thing.

For those of you on FB, here is a graphic video of an owl taking a bird, so its not unknown that owls will 'take' other birds

Carol, you are always busy, good for you.

Carole when do you go, this weekend?

What are you planing Cheryl?

Hello to Kris, hope your days are better.

Thanks for the funnies Jillers!

Carole how fortunate somebody found E8 <3

I hope they will be able to help him, that was a long time to go without sustenance :o
He is fortunate he didn't become prey for some other animal too <3

CROW is the right place for him to be right now..
