Carole, thank you for posting the SWF tribute. I will send it along to my sister. DadsJazz, one of those mentioned in the tribute, always writes such thoughtful updates.

Kath, it will be tricky to get nighttime photos of the Vivid Sydney event but if you do, please share them with us. I should go and look on the Indy 500 site to see where I can write a criticism of the balloon release.

Jill, nice yellow flowers. Is it some sort of succulent plant? :)^ :clk: It's a happy plant producing all those flowers!

I hope everyone is having a good day. We have a bit of a heat wave happening here! Not too long ago we had snow!

It may be a type of succulent plant Cheryl. It's one the worker on the property planted in the little spot of ground right outside the front window at work. But the leaves aren't juicy, if you know what I mean. :D

G'day Peeps, my Wednesday

Jillers, Your yellow flowers are definitely succulents but what???!

Nice to have some good garden weather, eh Cheryl! Crane Chicklets on FB are sure cute.

Lovely tribute for Fort Meyers for Memorial Day. Nice to see all the posts about Memorial Day. I remember. I am sure we all have someone close who was affected in one way or another for their sacrifice.

I am just crushed about the Silverback that was shot. Sick. I cant even watch the video. Bob did. He and I talked about it, we both immediately said "if that were my kid, I wouldve jumped into the enclosure too." Not that a male jumping in wouldve assisted as Silverback's are known to be quite territorial to human males, but not females.
That child will have this on conscious forEVER. So sad. Yes, the parents should be held responsible. And the Zoo should reassess its security. Tragic all the way around.

I walked up to the post office to drop mail and there was an envelop for me full of family photos from a non-blood relative (husband of 1st cousin, once removed, paternal line). It really made me happy. the photos are not high quality, just scanned on photocopy paper, but its more than what I had! And he made the effort to do this, so sweet.
Walking home, the clouds opened and it just poured. I stood in someone's car port until Bob arrived to pick me up! :rn:

My African Violets are going nuts!
