Happy Sunday to Everyone. I'm sorry for my recent absences. This unwelcome pending move is taking up our days and is causing much stress and distress. We have put a deposit on another place and if nothing else comes up in the next week or so we'll finalize the lease. There have been very few rentals in the online listings so we're probably fortunate to have found the one we did. Suddenly last week my Adobe Flash program became out dated with many sites warning me to upgrade, so I spent half of one day researching software compatibilities and then hesitantly installed it. Thankfully it worked and the warnings are gone. I'm no computer expert and we no longer have the great tech help we had in California so it's nerve wracking for me to download new software. Carol, keeping with the yellow flower theme of late I took this pic of some Buttercups along the nearby path. They're everywhere right now and seem to grow to varying heights depending on the amount of shade they're in. ![]() Our local Pheasant seems to be permanently gone. Here he is on May 8, the last day we saw him. Ed was feeding him Bird seed behind the house, which was his territory and he rarely wandered. He was very tame. It's not Pheasant season but we've seen a few Foxes lately and can only wonder what happened to him. ![]() Ozzie, what awful weather you've been having. I hope it improves quickly. It's finally gotten a bit warm here with a few days of 70 degree temps predicted. A night time low in SoCal, but "Summer Weather" here.

G'day peeps, We survived the big storm with only minimal damage. Some water leaked down the chimney, onto the floorboards, seeped through into the garage and warped the garage ceiling. The garage also flooded, but we knew it was prone to that so have everything off the floor. A lot of other people were a lot less fortunately, losing their homes particularly along the beachfront. http://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/sydney-wild-weather-homes-at-risk-as-collaroy-narrabeen-battered-by-storm/news-story/45e63ecdca3e9678f51ac51270996781 Nice to see you drop in Kris. I've been thinking about you and Ed with the pending move. It is so stressful. Here is a baby Raven for you. did you see the nesting chicks fledge near you?
