Our nephew's wedding on Saturday in Indiana was supposed to be outdoors. However, it rained buckets - the first rain they had experienced in about three weeks. The bride was ecstatic, though, because she had wanted rain, thunder, lightning, the works .... "Bring it on!" she said. Her Mom said that Rachel has always loved the rain. The venue is an educational farm where school classes visit on field trips and where they hold many community events on the weekends. The ceremony and reception were held inside a very elegant, clean barn with huge sliding doors along the walls. Rachel, the bride, slid the barn doors across and opened them herself once the deluge stopped. Then we could see the beautiful sky, the clouds, the fields of grass and the creatures in their pens. The hem and train of Rachel's dress were soaked and muddy by the end of the evening but she didn't care! The food was a delicious buffet of pulled pork, potato salad, yummy pies and things like that. The disk jockey was great and had everybody up dancing.

That is funny, Deb. The bridesmaids should have been looking at the couple. I didn't notice! :D There was a baby who started crying over on the left in the direction they were looking so maybe that's it. We had rain for our wedding as well, just like you and Gary. That is good news about this batch of medication kicking in better than the first kind. Poor Gary with not being able to hike. As I mentioned awhile ago, I had that done and can still recall how much it hurt to walk for awhile ... all that pressure on the sole of one's foot - something you don't usually think about. Enjoy the BBQ tonight! :Yum:

G'day Peeps, my blustery Thursday. Even Leo went out... then came straight back in! I missed yesterday, I had a bunch of work then into the City for a client appt. Afterwards, Bob met me in the City and we walked around to see Vivid Sydney lights in the Botanical Gardens, Martin Place and eastern side of Circular Quay stopping for a yummy Lindt Hot Chocolate along the way. It was actually warmer than it has been, and we were cooking in our warm jackets. We were home by 9pm to watch BOSCH! I'll get my photos and videos organised to share today as I dont have much work on, and it isnt walking weather!

Jillers, I love the Dalmatian but hope the spiders eventually come off! :D
I have a mirror like that too! rofl

I LOVE the Barn wedding! And Rachel's dress and hair with flowers are gorgeous. Stunning, in fact. I didnt notice that about the bridesmaid until Deb mentioned it! :o Cheryl, your family photo shows four very handsome men. What dress did you wear? The table decorations were also very nice. I also married on a (horse) farm to Rex. Rachel rode her horse up bareback after the vows. But it didnt rain! rofl

Bretagne <3 :^^^:

Glad you and Gary on are the mend, Deb - different issues.

Kris, lovely photos of your tree and back yard area. :X: for a smooth transition to your new home.

Carole, its always so annoying / frustrating to have computer issues. Glad most of it has sorted out.
