Carole, great news on E-8's recovery. I'd hoped today there'd be good news to report on Mohan, the abused and ailing Ele in India, whose case was to be heard today after countless delays. Very frustratingly all court matters for today were postponed until later in the month. The poor old tortured soul may die before he's released to Wildlife SOS's sanctuary. Cheryl, what a charming wedding venue, with such thoughtful touches like the quotes on the table settings. And what a quartet of handsome men you have there. If I were not already jumping out of my skin with anxiety and stress already with this pending move, I'm more so now with the effects of a Tick bite I got two nights ago. Ed and I had taken a walk through the nearby fields and later that night I felt a sting under my arm while watching TV. I had changed my shirts after the walk but those little buggers can latch on to pant legs and take a long walk up to their favorite places under arms and backs of necks. We stupidly didn't do the usual "Tick check" we do after walking in grasses where Deer and other animals go, and I'm paying the price with a hand sized red area, egg sized lump, and insane itching. I saw the doctor today who gave me antihistamines and an antibiotic in case it starts to get infected over the weekend. Ed had a bad one a couple of years ago that tortured him for a month! Despite the antibiotics and antihistamines. I'm sitting here holding an ice pack under my arm to keep the itching more bearable. It makes using the computer difficult. Speaking of painful bodily blights, I too had an experience with an awful Plantar's Wart (Verucca) on the ball of my foot when I was about thirteen. I had no idea what it was and suffered for many weeks with it before learning what it was. My mother, who was abnormally neurotic about anything to do with me, almost "Munchausen by Proxy"- like, taking me to the doctor for endless ailments she imagined, didn't notice I was suffering. Finally she took me to the doctor and he treated it with repeated applications of pads of sticky white bandage tape left on until the skin around it died back and he cut it away in stages. This was a several week, several treatment process but eventually the whole thing came out the last time the tape was removed. It was around 1959 or 60 and now seems an archaic way to do it. I never had another one despite in my 20s being a daily gym goer before work, using steam room, sauna, and common areas, where most people get theirs. It's a virus that maybe a tolerance is acquired for.

G'day Peeps, my sunny Saturday and into the long weekend (Queen's Birthday). No rain predicted too, at least not near us! Carol, fantastic outcome on the insurance! Your days are always filled with 'something' (including food!) So how many plates did you eat? Thanks for the E8 update Carole. Kris, I too get reactions from tick bites. And the ticks just LOVE me. I have to lotion myself down with Avon's Skin so Soft, a known lotion that deters them, you might try it. Its better than having to spray Aeroguard all over me (but I do that on my ankles anyway) Lucky Bay, Western Australia
