![]() Jill luv the puppy yesterday and I’m glad I’m not the rabbit ![]() Ozzie – hope Rachel gets settled in and enjoys her new home – what’s that old adage never judge a book lol – we’ve done some open house tours in NYC and the outside would never ever give you a clue as to what is inside Jill ES and I don’t drink coffee and hardly any caffeine – he doesn’t do well when he drinks lots of it so we are selective – actually we both drink lots of water to all eagle friends sun has come out but I understand a winter blast is on the way and maybe some snow - but of course over the weekend when I really want to be out not in oh well! I have a lot to do that I've been putting off so maybe time to stay home and attend to it hope everyone has a great day whatever your plans may be! ps one of my scouts took one of our recipes and decided to make it for his family last weekend! he couldn't quite remember the recipe so googled it - he found a little different version but it turned out great! woo hoo |

another of our scouts is looking to do his project for a local small rescue shelter at Christmas, a house right down from us (we can see it from our front steps) was boarded up because of hoarding apparently the man there, his mother had passed in the last year or two and the house was not habitable he left a window open to allow cats to come and go - no litter boxes - he just threw the food on the floor for them to forage the spca found dead cats, some cats so thin because they were fighting for food - just beyond belief the house has been condemned and a work crew showed up a week ago I guess to start emptying it probably to tear down I don't know where the man went - have seen him in the yard a couple of times but the house is boarded up - no access they took 24+ cats out and after preliminary treatment, they are now at this shelter who is a bit overwhelmed AND one of the cats has had kittens since then they are all now neutered/spayed and being socialized - looks like most will be adoptable - we got to see and visit with most of the cats on our visit they are pretty sure there are more corpses there and of course some cats are still coming going - don't know if they will attempt to catch them ![]() just makes you a bit shocked at how this happens and continues - why the neighbors didn't call....... sad so very sad ...... |

G'day Peeps, its cool today! Autumn. Nothing particular planned except playing with Snowy and I have paperwork to do. Deb, what an awful story about the feral cats! Sounds like the elderly man wasnt 'all there' to allow stuff like that to happen. I have a question for you regarding NYC rentals from Rachel, if you would know and kindly help. She was a subtenant and the prime tenant has locked her out so she cant get her remaining property and " lost 3 weeks of rent because she wouldn't let another sublessor in." I did a brief search online but it doesnt appear that sublessors have many rights. If you could point me in the right direction, or shall I give you Rachel's email? All the BEs are very busy this year, love seeing their work. Very upset about the Sandhill cranes being put on the 'hunt' list. Crazy. Erin Hanson (LA artist) I love her work!

Ozzie - Love that painting by Erin Hanson, so colourful and expressive, my kind of art. Great photo of Bob and his son. Bob's son's T-shirt is hilarious WOW, the NGA is quite the gallery, beautiful works and very opulent, just like you are at Versailles. |

A-49 spotted. Santa Cruz Update.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu7lmTDj8pU&feature=youtu.be not actually on the video, but the guy says so at 7.31 minute Carol and some others may not know who A-49 is. She is the first Bald Eagle to be born on the Channel Islands without assistance, eg 'wild'. |
