I just wanted to say hello this morning, feeling very, very upset today. Robert and I are leaving tomorrow for Florida, boarding the cruise ship on Sunday. Neither of us wants to go. The cruise was booked over a year ago. We have to pay for the cruises about 72 days before the trip. It was afterwards that Wynn became ill and was diagnosed. We can't use cancellation insurance for an ill pet. Ian and Allison offered to care for the dogs at their house and Matthew will drive over there to take them out during the day. Allison has arranged her shifts so that she will be home most of the days and Ian will be home on the weekends as well. Ian will take Wynn to his treatment in Guelph since he works in Guelph. He can leave him there, go to work, and they will call him in two or three hours to pick him up. Since Allison is a nurse she will give him his meds and take his temperature. Robert typed up a daily schedule and instructions for everything.

Robert's brother is doing reasonably well right now with his chemo treatment. :X:

We actually entered the modern age and got a smart phone since our pay-as-you-go phones won't work on some of the islands (Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba). They only work on islands such as St. Thomas or St. Martin which we won't be visiting this cruise. We need to be able to call home to check on Bill and Wynn, not that we can do much from so far away. If we need to fly home we will have to figure that out somehow.

Anyway I will be away until around the 23rd. Wynn seems to be OK right now so we will hope for the best. If I can check in to the forum on Robert's IPad I will try to do that but it probably won't work since I am no good at figuring it out.

Stay well, everyone. I will miss all of you. :Hugs:

Cheryl - Rest assured that Wynn will be in good hands with the care both he and Mia will get from Ian, Allison and Matthew. Wynn has been doing well and he will probably get a bit spoiled with all your family which is good.

Try to enjoy your cruise and feel secure now that you have the smart phone you can check in daily to see how everything is going.

Good news that your BIL is doing better :)^

Cheryl - I would feel exactly the same way you do about going on the cruise. However, you are leaving Wynn and Mia in very, very good hands, and I do hope you get to enjoy your trip. It seems to be a good sign that Wynn is responding well to the treatments. Will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers! <:3 <:3

Carol sounds like you are as always, very busy  Yes they are saying 3-5” of snow – my boss said might have to have another snow day tomorrow ;) we’ll see

Oh my ozzie so sorry to hear – I think you may be right – subleasing means pretty much no rights  in NYC it’s a whole different ball game I don’t know of anyone out here off hand who I could ask – one guy I knew has long ago retired and unavailable she might call legal aid in the area and see what they say? Or the bar association? They could point her in the right direction… hope it works out for her

Awesome to hear about Cruz 
All these eagles and eggs – very sad though when even one egg is lost 

Cheryl – sounds like you have covered all the bases better than anyone could expect. Wynn will be in great hands and a little rest will help you and Robert keep balance ….. glad to hear BIL is better. Have a restful trip ….. hugs

Carole what beautiful fluff ball (that’s about all you can say about a hatchling) <3

I had a meeting last night – didn’t want to go to but kind of had to grrr
Then gary had to go to a hearing for a client – I got home at 10PM and he arrived about 10:30
I figured he’d go in late today but he had a meeting this AM and one later today so maybe tomorrow he can cut a couple hours?

Now we are expecting snow which seems crazy cause it’s really nice and sunny, little breeze outside – not really cold BUT it is march and winter still around!

G'day Peeps, another cool and rainy day DownUnder, my Friday AND!

Its my Beautiful Bob's Birthday <3 Baking him a banana cake (his request) and he wanted to go to the movies tonight to see 'Lion'

Oh Cheryl, I know EXACTLY how you feel. Even with healthy pets, I found it hard to go to Canberra last weekend, Snowy is still so young. It turned out ok as I know your family will look after the boys for you. As they are just as much their pets as yours, close to the heart.
What sort of smart phone did you get?
If you email this IWS link to yourself (or to Robert) you can open your mail on the iPad and click the link, it will open and you can 'bookmark' the link. Just remember your login and password!

Carole, thanks for the great BE updates! So eggciting to see the ^"^

Thanks for the advice, Deb. I did read up a lot on the website. It is illegal to be locked out, but the stress of dealing with the roomie I think 'lesson learned', and she will get herself on the lease in the new place in May when it comes up for renewal.
Late meetings are always so tiring.

Carol, your driving lesson (or whatever you call it) sounds very unstressful!

Here is a cute story!
