Hope you’re feeling better ozzie (couple of days ago)
Yes Rachel should set a date and then file – only out the filing fee …. Grrrrr

Carol what a beautiful photo at MCR! Did you get any of the snow!
Jeanne and up her way got 24 (some reported even 30) inches :o
We got 5 but then about 3 more inches which was all sleet so everything is frozen now and if you didn’t deal with it yesterday afternoon – it’s gonna be there for a few days
Neighbors couldn’t get cars out of driveways this AM if it was a regular car – could drive thru or over the piled snow/sleet/ice!

I agree Ozzie – if Trump would let the twitter account be …. Grrrrr he’s like a 12 year old sometimes

Carole – glad to know mom/dad feeding the early fledger – oh those snowy nests  but mom/dad do the best job don’t they!

Well your photo says it all Carol – there was a cartoon today on FB about the groundhog and winter noting that he didn’t say we would get it all in one day ;)
Stay warm and safe!

ES went to work yesterday - like 3 people on the train (he wouldn't listen to me) and was home by noon - I think he was the only person on the whole train!
so he did some work at home and worked on his training credits for LEED
I worked on scout stuff and kept an eye on email....
back to business today :)

Deb - Love your owl graphic  , so sweet.

Yesterday we helped babysit the great grand children, Jocelyn and Aaron. They were so adorable. The more we go there the more
familiar they are with us. We brought Maya with us and all she did was kiss the kids, they giggled all the time.

Today was laundry day but I sent Alan on a mission to Wal-Mart (I hate going there) with a big list of items we need. He always
calls me from his cell phone to check if he is buying the right thing, "MEN", I wrote it down, buy it! rofl

We didn't get much snow with the storm so all is good here.

Good afternoon...Simply awesome out...sunny, bright, etc., etc., etc. Made a quick stop at the nursery this morning and found nearly everything I will need to replant my pots.

For St. Patrick's Day this year we have been invited to our neighbor's home, along with five other couples in our neighborhood, to have the traditional St. Pat's Day dinner. As a rule, we go to our local Italian restaurant, which I'd mentioned a few days ago. They have such a crowd that they said they will serve corned beef, etc both Friday and Sat.

Carol...Hope you weathered this latest storm without any damage. GS likes to volunteer somewhere during his Easter Vacation. Last year he went to help with the maintenance of the Cumberland trail and the year before that he went to Chicago to help care for some abandoned dogs and cats. This year they chose to go down to Kentucky and work in the caves. Unfortunately, the day they were to leave to get back to Boston was the day the storm was to hit...luckily, they got back to Boston about an hour ahead of the storm...whew!!!

What's the latest on Alice the giraffe...any baby yet???

I've peeked in a few times but nothing yet. This morning she seemed to be uncomfortable but now she is fine and no other symptoms of delivering soon.

G'day Peeps, my very, very wet Thursday. The rain came down hard at times, so much so it woke me up. Snowy and I surveyed the gardens this morning (I carry him in my arms, he doesnt fight to get down - in fact, he purrs!). All the flowers are bent over from the rain. The Dahlias look so sad bowing their heads over. :( And it is suppose to rain through until next Monday!!

I love your description of Maya licking the children, Carole! Glad you didnt get socked with Snow.
Bob calls me an average of 3 times when he goes to the grocery store. I dont like to go with him because he takes waaaay too long to shop. Me? I'm an in and out shopper. ;)

I too love your graphics Deb. Rachel went to work today, said she slipped and fell heavily on Bedford Avenue (like I know where that is...) and nearly fainted on the train into town. My poor baby! :'( She did stay home the last 2 days.

We sold our X-trainer last night. It was giving me bursitis in my hip. Next step will be to get a stationary bike. I think Bob will use that but he didnt like the X-trainer.

Everyone have a nice evening.

Carole – gary does the same thing some times ;) Maya can make anybody smile  soooo cute

Chiquita – sometimes I’m a bit jealous of the CA folks posting photos and letting us know their weather – it’ll be a few more months before we have anything green or flowers to give us something wonderful to smell  oh well – but I do luv the snow ;)

Sorry to hear Rachel fell – gary did a crazy slip and slide down the train steps on Tues cause they hadn’t cleared them – he actually missed the last 2 :o there were some photos yesterday floating around showing lots of subway steps not cleared – grrrr hope she’s ok!

Boy that’s a lot of rain …. Whooee
