I agree Jill - I'm becoming a senior whether I want to or not so gonna laugh all the way as I have always done :)

Ozzie – interesting that you know about the leukemia but uplifting to know that it’s manageable – everything so far sounds very promising and that once under control, he should be able to do ok so we’re hoping!

Carol – hear ya on the car – grrrr DECEMBER ’17 – wow 
Hope your test results are good

I can use my right arm (I'm right handed after all) but shoulder is painful and continuing to get worse - I don't remember a lot from earlier surgery on left - it was 10 years ago? and not a difficult procedure!
But dr. did a resistance test - I held up left arm and pushed up against his hand, trying to keep him from pushing my arm down! Success! Then we did my right arm and he pushed it straight down - I had practically no ability to stop him from pushing :( whoa!!! So off to MRI - Also if I don't do the surgery for the impingement, then the current issues can lead to tears and difficult repairs (I didn't know either) so I have no choice if that's what is confirmed - now, when to squeeze it into my schedule ;) lol

sunny today - chilly still but some great warm spring weather coming sat!

hope everyone is well and having a great day

OH my niece & hubby have a baby coming early may BUT she went into labor yesterday. THEN her water broke so they are hoping to stop labor for a few days but they are now expecting delivery tomorrow or saturday.
The baby is about 5 1/2 lbs estimated and expected to be fine but it is worrisome to say the least! Mom also has a cyst on her brain which is not a day to day issue at the moment BUT they don't want an extended, hard labor which could rupture that cyst! whew ---- my sister and Claudia's mom are heading out to be there - Doug is in the Army stationed in TN and first baby! So another great niece/nephew (they won't tell) will soon be here AND I'll get to see and hold in May woo hoo - come on shoulder surgery - get done and get well - I got a baby to hold :)

Greetings and Blessings of the Spring Equinox (or Autumnal in Ozzie's case). <3

This was my intended post for Monday, sorry it's so late. :( I've had a very stressful week and it's been impossible to get to the laptop in the small time window the time difference and schedule allows. :hair:

Deb, Oh my! So much going on! Thoughts and prayers for your Niece and the new one's safe arrival. Thoughts too for your DB, and for your MRI results. :X: When Lori's DH had knee surgery he took Glucosamine and Chondroiton to speed healing. He also eats Pineapple for its Bromelain: good for joints and inflammation, and seems to help his knee pain. Ed relies on natural and supplemental things to deal with his condition since traditional medicine has no cure for him. :'( They can't even cure the common Cold. :haha:

Carole, continuing appreciation for your Eagleland updates. :Hugs: I try to swoop by at least daily to see them, but it's usually at an hour when most of you are asleep. How exciting to see Casey in "Little Shop of Horrors". :><: I hope you can get some pics or iPhone footage. :clk:
When I was in school I was in the Drama Department and in several stage productions. It was so much fun and so inspiring. Bizarrely, in retrospect, my first Drama Coach was Kenny Kingston, a friend of the family, who later went on to become the "Psychic to the Celebrities", appearing on Johnny Carson, etc, and later having a network of Psychic Chat Lines advertised for years in the back pages of tabloids. He claimed to channel the Spirits of Marilyn Monroe and Clifton Webb, among others.

Carol, so sorry about your Recall problems. :Hugs: They should eventually resolve it for you. :X: Hoping all your tests come out well. It's always unnerving to have tests. They most always come out well, but the worry and waiting is hard to avoid. Lovely Daffodil image! They are blooming everywhere here right now. Centuries of cultivation and wild growth have spread them like weeds. So lovely.

I look forward to Cheryl's return and hearing of her Tropical adventures, and to know how Wynn is doing. :X:

Just as I booked plane and lodging for California the new "Electronics Ban" and London "terrorist attack" happens. :8O: My Blood Pressure has been going up with all the anxiety of recent World Events, among other things. (have a home BP tester to monitor) Not the least of these is extreme concern about leaving Ed alone in his condition while I go to California for ten days. He knows I need to do it and supports me but his health is so precarious I worry about leaving him alone without friend or family nearby to check in on him. He's sure the trip would be brutal on his health, and it could put him in a bad state, not worth risking. Of course we'd talk every day but I'd be so far away. :( With this new airline cabin restriction on electronics I probably won't even plan to take my laptop with me to California, but can use Lori's computer. Even cameras have to be in baggage under the restriction and yesterday's London "terrorist" attack will insure that my airline will institute the cabin restrictions too.

Deb - Prayers all will be well with the mother and baby :candle: / It is a good weight /
I was 4 3/4LB when I was born / Prayers for your shoulder too / That is very painful / :X:

Kris - Prayers that all will go smoothly for you all the way through the trip :candle:
The tests are only preventative /LifeLine travels around / Gives a series of preventative
tests / "For armed is For warned" / A lot less expensive / I had Carotid, Peripheral,
Abdominal Aortic aneurysm, and Atrial Fibrillation /

Cheryl - Nice trip went well / Nice you're home :)^

:}^ Hi peeps. We got home late yesterday, picked up the dogs and brought them home. All is well, Wynn looks so good and that warmed our hearts to see him and Mia. Ian and Allison got to know Mia's spunky personality (different to live with her daily :D compared to coming here to visit for a few hours). We were so happy to be able to receive a few pics and text messages about Wynn while we were away, modern technology can really help when there are loved ones back home that a person is worried about. The dogs got along surprisingly well with their cat and played funny chase and hiding games with him which the cat kept instigating. Wynn had chemo treatment on Monday and his vet report commented about how good he looks. Then early this morning the plumbing company called to say their carpenter was available to repair the water-damaged laundry room ceiling. What a day to get that call but we've been calling and asking regularly for him to come and finish up from the shower damage and they were always busy. So we said sure come here today on top of everything else, whew. :hair:

Deb, I will be keeping the young Mom and baby in my thoughts that everything goes well. <3 :X: <3

Later today I will try to read through the comments from the days I was away and will respond. I missed everyone very much.

thanks for the info Kris

Hi ya Cheryl - can't wait to hear so glad to hear the puppies had a good time on their vacation AND that Wynn is doing so well! :)

Update - they are inducing mom - she's actually having contractions but not feeling them .... her water broke which has led to all of the goings on . . . so we are hoping baby later today/tomorrow
she has a cyst on her brain (discovered last year) so they are trying to not have her in heavy long labor and chance a rupture! but so far, all is good! sis and family on their way down to be with them!

Deb - Sending prayers to your niece for an easy delivery and a healthy baby :candle:

Hope all goes well with your MRI and shoulder surgery. I remember when you had the last one and you did so well, may this one be just as easy.

Kris - I'm so happy your plans of going to visit Lori are finalized, you need this mother/daughter time together. Ed will be fine, it's only for 10 days, I'm sure he will manage without you very well. Just go and enjoy this well earned visit and make the most of it.

Carol - Good luck with all your test results :X:

Cheryl - Welcome home, you were missed here. I'm ecstatic that you found Wynn in such good health and that he and Mia had a good stay at Ian and Allison's place with their cat. Hope all your repair work goes well, the timing isn't great but at least it will get done.
