It's cool and raining on most of the nests but the adults are doing their best to keep all the eaglets warm and dry.

Posted Image Hello, everybody.

It's a dreary day here as well, Carole. I guess it's better than snow.

Yesterday was a busy day with errands and a dentist appointment, just for regular cleaning. My dentist's office is in our twin city of Waterloo. Normally over the years that has been an easy 20 minute drive. However, over the past couple of years both cities have been torn up to make way for the new Light Rail Transit system. What a disaster with construction everywhere. I also called my Mom and we watched Grey's Anatomy in the evening. The episode was a very intense one.

Carole, the sad saga at the Steward nest reminds me of what happened with Skye and Spirit getting knocked out of the nest by an aggressive eagle. :X: that Hope recuperates and returns to the nest area. The two dads are doing a super job so far. Thank you for all the other nest pictures, too.

Chiquita, thanks for the information about your FitBit. I have recorded the name and will look into it here. I know that the Weight Watchers office sells FitBits for a good price (better than elsewhere) so I'll look again at what model theirs is when I go for my monthly weigh-in. (not going for a couple of weeks because I ate too much during our cruise ;) ). Meanwhile my sister is running in a 5K in Hawaii this evening. They are there on holidays.

Deb, any news about Mila Rose's progress? Maybe she'll be able to go home this weekend. :X:

Our final three ports of call were the islands of Bonaire, Curacao, and Aruba. On Bonaire we took a small boat which held about 60 people over to an uninhabited nature reserve. When we arrived most people congregated around the two tables and small awning where the tour leaders provided water or rum punch. Folks were snorkelling in that area. Robert and I had been there a couple of times before. We headed off down the beach quite a distance. There was nobody else anywhere near us. We started to put our chairs together. The chairs come in small bags and everything unfolds, then the chair seat goes on. While we were assembling the chairs another couple came along and put their towels down right behind us about seven yards. :o :hair: It was unbelievable because the entire area was empty! They could have gone anywhere! Nobody else was there! We picked up our chairs and walked even farther down the beach. Robert did give them the stink eye but we didn't say anything. I am still shaking my head about it. If it was a busy beach then it would have been understandable but the place was empty. Anyway here is the scene with Bonaire across the water. It shows what our chairs look like.

We hardly took any pictures - nothing from Curacao, and only more chair and beach pictures on Aruba. You'd all love the beach in Aruba. It is called "Eagle Beach"! No eagles that I saw, though! It's a gorgeous, long beach with white sand and lots of space.

After that we had two days at sea sailing home.

Cheryl - Some tourists are just plain dumb! It reminds me of when Alan and I went to a play which was general admittance and you can sit anywhere. The theater was less than half filled and a couple came and sat right in front of us  , we immediately moved.

We have similar chairs to yours. Ours are a bit bigger and we really enjoyed them when we went to the grandkids soccer and baseball games, more comfortable than sitting on the hard bench tiers.

The sand reminds me of the beach on Siesta Key, Florida, pure white and so soft.

It's amazing how the tourist business in Scotland has grown to such large proportions, all because of our beloved "Outlander" :)^

Thanks for always posting your photos and taking us along on your trip :Hugs:
