The little eaglet peeps all look like they are being well fed and protected by their parents, Carole. It cheered me up to see the sun shining in most of your screen caps this morning. Thank you!

![]() I read on Pinterest about harmless tricks people have played on their children. One was to switch the kids into each other's beds when they were asleep so they'd be confused when they woke up in the morning. I wish Robert and I had thought of that one.

The sun keeps peeking out here, haven't seen it in over a week. Hope it stays bright, it's nice to see a bit of blue in the sky. That's a funny trick to play on your children. |

For some unknown reason I haven't been able to log in since Wednesday! I thought the boards must have been down since I couldn't even get to CHIL Chat, but when I finally logged in I found Thursday and Friday were there, but I could only get to Wednesday's posts until late yesterday. My laptop has been acting up so it must have been on my end. Happy First of April. When I was expecting Lori I hoped she wouldn't be born on Fool's Day and have to live with that potential for yearly ribbing. Thankfully she waited until the third to make her entrance. Brexit was officially begun on Wednesday, now there's no turning back on leaving the EU. It's caused so much strife and complications that a revote would probably not pass it. Now Scotland wants its own Independence Referendum since they overwhelmingly voted against it, but the UK Prime Minister is set against any Scottish referendums until after Brexit is accomplished in 2019, but the Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is determined to keep Scotland in the EU and they're at loggerheads. (I don't know how much of this is US news) Even Northern Ireland is now making comments about unifying with Ireland to stay in the EU, and Wales is considering the same. At worst the "United Kingdom" could fracture leaving England on its own. Other EU members are talking of leaving the union. Many of them having critical elections ahead. There's even talk of the status of Gibralter, part of the Spain but still a British colony, being an issue. Even with all this going on I'm impressed at the civility of Parliamentary debates. I watch the sessions live and as heated as it becomes they still address each other respectfully as "My Right Honorable Gentleman/Lady", not that "nasty woman" or "bad/evil man" as the US chief has said (and much more) of his opponents, and others. More public dissonance here about the new Five Pound note that contains "animal parts". I've been refusing them, being a devoted vegetarian not wanting to contribute to animal abuse in any way. Under public pressure they've just announced an alternative for the new Twenty Pound notes using Palm Oil instead. Palm Oil production is the main cause of dwindling Orangutan habitat destruction and a critical threat to their survival. I avoid Palm Oil but it's in many products. These new Pound notes have vegetarians and vegans protesting the use of either ingredient as being harmful to some animals and their habitat. News is the best TV viewing here and Ed like Bob has low tolerance for my rantings on contentious current events. |

G’day Peeps, my Sunday. Early. I had a very busy work day Friday and Saturday was a farewell BBQ for Bob's youngest son & DIL back to Denver, at the EX wife's premises. All went well, in fact except for her brother who is a obnoxious know-all drunk, it was a lovely afternoon. On the way home we stopped at Bob's sister's home. She helps at a Charity shop and we had some old clothes to give her. Lovely Sunday morning today. Leo wakes us up to goes out at light. Snowy USED to wait until we got up to be rambunctious. Of late he has taken to MEOWING quite LOUD and SADly. So I get up. Bob stays in bed to sleep more (he does need more than me). I actually like my alone time in the morning. I’m all ready to get into the garden, I have more bulbs to plant and Doreen (Bob’s sister) gave me a bagful of her plants and seeds from her garden (which is gorgeous). Cheryl, I just love your photos of the beach. Odd about the couple. You and Robert should've lifted your chairs RIGHT NEXT OR IN FRONT OF THEM. "Oh are we intruding?" Why do people do that?! Its like people in the grocery store or mall who stop to talk right in the middle of the aisle or in front the escalator. DUMB. I love your mod art photo Carole. Yes, Mia is hard to see but we knew she was there. Thanks for posting up the BE updates. Probably just as well for Ft Vrain egg, two is enough to feed!Kris, we too get the UK news being a Commonwealth country. Do you have PR in the UK? I still watch my USA news, but now keep my mouf shut around Bob!

Kris - I still don't why Brexit won the vote So many of their neighbouring countries are against it. Oh well, it's there problem for now, hope it doesn't affect us in any way. Ozzie - Leo and Snowy sure keep you on your toes at an early hour. Maya wakes up Alan around 5:30 a.m. to go out and have breakfast. He deals with it and Maya rules the roost with him.
