Kath, that is quite the amazing picture of Melbourne in the storm. :)^ How nice to know that you'll be able to celebrate Rachel's birthday with her in person. :bday: Thank you for asking about Wynn. My apologies because I forgot to reply the first time you asked. He should be able to get an infusion tomorrow at the university. His blood count was too low both times he was taken to Guelph last week. He receives a four-week rotation of different chemo treatments. The chemo pills he was given two Mondays ago seem to be the hardest on him. But to see him you would never know how seriously ill he is because he is eating, playing, gladly going for walks, and happy. We are grateful that the treatment has given us some extra time with him. Eventually it will stop working.

Deb, enjoy your field trip to Canada. The boys will be amazed by Niagara Falls. You've planned so many highlights for your time in Toronto. I know you'll have some great photos to share on your return.

Kris, I really liked the photo of you with your Mom when you were a baby. <3 Her passing right when you were planning your trip to CA must be hard on you. :Hugs:

Chiquita, I am sorry about the loss of your neighbour. Including his Camaro in the funeral cortege was a nice tribute.

Jill, Mia got into the toilet paper roll once when she was a puppy. How is Katie doing these days? And George, too, of course.

Carole, you must be having your family Passover meal today.

Enjoy your day, everyone. There is supposed to be some sort of pink full moon tonight. It's cloudy here but maybe one of you will be lucky enough to see it.

It's good you get more time with Wynn. I know what that means as we got 4 more months with Fred when he had that mast cell tumor & we gave him meds.

Katie & George are good! I have noticed that twice when Katie when to jump up on the desk she missed, which was unusual. Perhaps her eye doesn't have full vision. But she is doing fine otherwise & is quite a pest (quite like George since he's always hungry!) since she stays so much in my office now! :P Thanks for asking! :D

Jill, that is good news that Katie is adjusting to her vision situation reasonably well. Funny about her getting an appetite like George's now. I'm glad she has made good progress.

Hi everyone :}^

After having 22 people for dinner last night, I am exhausted. Cleaned up the house and put all the dishes and serving pieces away, did the laundry of all the table linens, vacuumed up all the matzoh crumbs and then couldn't move, my back started to act up. I spent the afternoon sitting in a lounge chair, feet up on a hassock and fell asleep for awhile.

Dinner was fabulous, it was a joy to have all the family together.

Will read all the news here and get back to all of you tomorrow.

G'day Peeps, my sunny Wednesday. Rain later so says the weather people.

Cheryl, Good to hear that Wynn, on the appearance of it, is happy and well. :X: he remains that way for a long time to come. Again, thanks for the WC link! :><:

How old is Katie, Jill? I have noticed as cats get older, they seem to be hungrier. :<::

Carole, good for you for putting your feet up. Three days at least of hard work, but that is what families are about.

I did hear about the PINK moon too. It is an old Indian legend according to PATTI SMITH, who we saw live last night. She says it has to do with the sunrise and sunset appear during this time of year. Of course we dont have that in Oz! But I will look for the full autumnal moon tonight. The light certainly has been encouraging our nocturnal friends from eating my coriander and celery!!!

As mentioned, LIVE performance of Patti Smith. She definitely has a distinctive style. I've not heard her live before but last year read a book she wrote entitled 'Just Kids'. About her young adult life and about Robert Mapplethorpe who she was very very close friends with. Unfortunately, her voice gave out half way through the concert.

A iPhone video... finale.

Okay, getting a little on the older side. Maybe jumping is getting harder for the ol' girl!
