Kris, when I saw these spectacular photos of elephants taken by photographer David Yarrow I thought you might like to see them. He writes a story with each photo, explaining the situation with the elephant(s) and how he got the picture. Each photo is a work of art. I think everyone here will like them, actually. :D

Cheryl, what amazing Elephant photos! <3 Thank you so much for thinking of my love of them and posting the link. Black and white photography can be so dramatic and affecting. Elephant populations are so desperately endangered. I think something like "one hundred" are killed daily! Asian Elephants are more severely endangered than African, but they all could be gone in a generation. Rhinos even sooner. :'( :'( Wildlife SOS is the organization in India that focuses on freeing abused Circus and Temple Elephants. The most recent being Gajraj, a seventy year old who spent over 50 years in chained, abusive captivity. They manged to obtain legal releases to take custody of him and he's now at their sanctuary being given all the medical, nutritional, and compassionate care he's never had, along with the dozens of others they've rescued. I've been meaning to say what a great graphic your Ship in a Bottle is. :)^ The past week has been really miserable with multiple distresses and the days gone before I could get online. :(

Ozzie, I probably missed your departure but wanted to say "Bon Voyage" and safe travels. :Hugs: How exciting to go to SoCal and spend time with your family. <3 After you mentioned your weight worries in gaining 5 pounds I wanted to share a weight loss tip that seems to have really worked for me. In the past few years, getting older, not exercising as much in the cold UK climate, eating "treats" to curb depression, etc, my weight had crept up and I avoided getting on the scale. It measures in kilos making it harder to monitor. The past year I've been applying this method I found and when I saw my SoCal doc recently my weight was 113! 10 to 15 more than it used to be but I'm sure many pounds less than what I had risen to in recent years. Anyway, I read an article, on Yahoo I think, researched it and started taking Pure Rasberry Ketones (no more than 100mg each cap, without fibre additives that some have) twice a day with a morning drink of 1 tbs of organic Apple Cider Vinegar in a bit of water. The ACV is good for so many things. I get Bragg's online at eBay since it's hard to find here. The combination seems to work. :ok:

Cheryl, just yesterday I discovered that the book I had recommended to you a few months ago had already been made into a play and had won 7 Olivier Awards (like UK Tony's) and 5 Tony's, including " Best Play" in 2014, I think! The copy I bought said only that it had won a couple of Literary awards in the UK. The title, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time", had caught my attention in a Card and Gift shop in a nearby town but it must not have been the most recent edition, which would have mentioned the awards on the jacket. The stage production is still touring the UK but was in London months ago, the closest place we might have seen it. It could make into a great film which is probably already in the works.
