Linda, unfortunately no, my mother won't wear a panic button device. We've tried to get her to have one. The apartment where we wish she would move has a button on the wall in the main living area, another in the bathroom, and one the person wears at all times. It is such a good place. I just wish she'd be more accepting of the idea. She could still be as independent as she chooses and could even keep her car if she wanted to (and had continued to pass her driver's test). Some people in the building even still go out to work every day. But higher level of care is available when needed. Thanks for your concern and suggestions. We'll keep trying. That is encouraging that your daughter says she will move closer to home once her teaching commitment is finished.

My new nail colour. Not exactly 'neutral'. I have been getting different shades of pink since January and was getting tired of pink.

Good morning everyone ![]() ![]() Some photos of Charlene's garden. With all the rain they had, the plants and trees looked like part of a rain forest. We spent a lot of time cutting back on some of the plants but still a lot to do. Arrived home last night, we had such a wonderful visit with her. |

Cheryl - Thanks for the whooper updates. I sure do miss the live cams when they were learning to follow the ultralight. Love your nail colour , it's turquoise like the print you use on the forum Will catch up on the news here later, so much laundry to do. |

Carole, Charlene's garden looks so lush. The elephant ears are humungous! They must love the place they are planted. We have the same kind of plant but the leaves are smaller. That's a happy plant! The white flowers are very pretty. Is it a Rose of Sharon bush? Nice job by everyone. Glad you liked my nail colour, thank you. |
